This stuff is always gonna get a great review from me. Colors are beautiful. Has built in trivet to protect your surfaces from heat and scratches(don't remove, it cleans fine). Heats in oven(follow temperature directions and don't put the plastic lid in). Microwave safe. Freezes. Cleans easily. Don't leave standing in water for extended periods. I don't know about Ello ware specifically but silicone tends to fade when exposed to heat or standing water for EXTENDED periods and I would hate to accidentally damage this beautiful cook/serve -ware. ... show more

I've had my first batch for 2 years now, 2 of them still brand new with plastic. They are really good quality, the lids have no broken off from any of them and the rubbers are all still intact. They hold a good amount of food, and the lids/rubber gaskets provide a nice tight seal with good leak proofing. I've also dropped one a few times and still no chipping thanks to the rubber sleeve that they come with. I honestly LOVE these, and I think they're very much worth it if you want a glass container set to take your food to work. Only downside I had was the weight, I carry a 52L water bottle and 2 meals + 1 snack to work for my 10-14 hour days, and that put a lot of weight on my backpack. The lids are also a bit annoying to clean because of the rubber gasket, they can get a bit dirty so you may want to remove the gasket trim to clean it better which can be time consuming, also the gaskets can get stretched making them harder to keep on the lid with time. I have 1 of the 4 containers from 2022 with this gasket issue, but the rest are perfectly fine. ... show more

Okay .. Items doesn’t leak when you have to carry .. Upside for minutes by accidentally or intentionally.. No leakage.. rubber covers easily removed and easy to clean.. However, it is not very resilient. Okay dropped one time in side of lunch container and one less of product for me to use.. Yes! I got this set for an elderly friend I care for. She has memory issues so I wanted something she couldn’t melt in the microwave, wouldn’t burn her if she grabbed it while hot, sturdy and non-toxic, but also not as likely to break if dropped and good grip so less likely to be dropped in the first place, oh, and could go in the freezer too. And lastly a see through lid so she could know what was inside easy. That’s a long list but these fit the bill, oh and they’re easy to clean too surprisingly! I liked them so much that this was actually the second set. The first set were the rectangular ones. And I love the colors as well.
