    • Not great quality, and poor compatibility
This isn't an especially well designed mount. First and foremost, it is only "compatible" with "all" tablets in the size range in the loosest of senses. The rubberized grips that attach in the orders are at a fixed angle, so they only grip tablets properly if they're the exact aspect ratio being expected. I can't tell what size would be "correct" for them, but I have 16:10, 16:9 and 3:2 tablets and they all don't fit it properly. Maybe a 4:3 iPad does? It also doesn't have a good mechanism to securely lock it in any particular orientation. The only real upside is that it is very inexpensive, and it *will* hold any tablets in that size range. It just looks bad and isn't as secure. So if you're looking for a real inexpensive option, this will work, but there are definitely better designs out there. ... show more

    • Works, but could be better
While providing an elegant way to support both portrait and landscape mode, this mount could have been better with a few changes. For one, the mount is designed for a larger tablet, 14.5". So, when it's hosting a smaller tablet like my 11" Samsung, the corner grips are not correctly aligned and the tablet doesn't fit perfectly. Because of the poor fit, the tablet has a tendency to propel itself forward from the corner grips whenever I try to change its orientation. To counter, I have to use both hands and push the tablet back. Second, the mount is too deep, causing the tablet to jut out 3" from the wall. It just looks odd to have all that space behind the tablet. Why not 2", or even 1.5"? Complaints aside, this is one of the few mounts that allow (nearly) effortless changing of the display mode. If that flexibility is important to you, you may find that this mount works well enough. ... show more

This is a simple but high-quality mount. The base is made from anodized aluminum and is very sturdy. The mount itself is made from ABS like plastic. I like the way it holds the iPad at two corners.
