I am a jump rope beginner, and getting back into shape from ground zero. A beaded jump rope has been recommended as the rope to start with for a beginner. The quality and durability is good. It is taking me a bit of time to figure out the correct length for my fitness and jump rope journey. I do wish that there was an easier way to adjust it. Currently you need to untie a knot, remove the beads, and knot the end. If you need to cut the end - burn the tip to prevent it from fraying. if there was some kind of clasp to eliminate the need to knot it would be quite helpful. Otherwise, the cord and the beads work well. Will the beads hold up from breakage or from being stepped on? Time will tell and I will update after longer use. ... show more
