It is very compact but has enough trays to get your food dehydrated. Very quiet that you don't even hear it or realize it's on. Very easy to operate as well. If you put on a cutting board on your stove top, your vent fan can ensure your kitchen doesn't heat up. We have dehydrated veggies and made beef jerky.     • Compact and efficient
LOVE IT for my purposes. This is a very small machine with 4 racks. I make fruit rolls and having metal mesh trays is perfect for me. I put the fruit mush on a piece of parchment paper. It took the same 5 hours to dry as it took me in the oven and in a friends round dehydrator. I like this style better than the because it works like a mini convection oven, fan in the back. It seems to cook more even than the round dehydrator or a simple oven. I like that it has a timer as I did forget it was running. I put it outside as it does give off heat and would heat up my house too much. It will make enough that you will spend the morning prepping your ingredients, the machine will dry it all day. And you will devour the contents in 10 minutes 😅 ... show more

    • Works well for the price
This food dehydrator is well made and works well. The only issues I have are it limits you to like 4-5 preset temperatures which is annoying. The second and last issue is the max time you can dehydrate something is 24 hours. I wish it was 42 hours. Otherwise it works well

This thing is absolutely tiny for its price of i would have known it was this small would have never bought it pictures the seller has makes it look big but its not and the preset temperatures it has are dumb goes 95 104 113 up to 158

Use this regularly to dry herbs from my garden to make my own spice blends. Really compact and quiet. Fits on the counter perfectly without taking up too much space. Best for very small items for dehydration like herbs!
