Very easy to crank off by hand and stays tight keeps the prop on very easy to use performs. Great installation is especially easy. Take old one off screw new one on by hand does not need to be cranked down tight at all. I’ve been using mine for three months straight through thick Hydrilla And has never once loosened and helps. Does not work on newer Minnkota motors, as the thread size is not correct. Needs to have a 5/16th x 24 thread size. The product is of good quality , being it's made in China. I am returning to see if I can get correct product that fits.
