I bought this because I didn’t feel like it was necessary to purchase a rodecaster duo. I liked the effects I was using in unity but wanted to use my pod mic usb with xlr. I’ll say this ahead of time, I don’t really notice too much of a difference but it is nice having the control I do with the wave xlr and wave link software. I’m producing a sound that is professional and clean and wave link has given me very little issues.

Exceptional hardware, but the software experience leaves much to be desired. I invested in the Wave DX, Wave XLR, and Elgato XLR cable bundle, all boasting top-notch build and performance. However, my satisfaction was short-lived as the Wave Link app, initially impressive, failed to launch after just one day of use. Despite attempting multiple fixes, I've been unable to resolve the issue. Disappointingly, I expected superior software quality from Elgato, a market leader. In summary, while the hardware earns a five-star rating, the troublesome software brings the overall experience down to three stars.
