I originally had given this a lower rating because after a few weeks/month, one of the channels failed, so I was hearing just from my right headset. I reached out to the elgato team and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service, and how quick they were to remedy the situation. Without hesitation they offered a solution that was quick and reasonable. Before the left channel failed me, it worked seamlessly! Plug and play ready and had fixed my streaming challenges. And the audio was crisp and clear! The pro version is supposed to be sturdier but with sensitive cables, things can get damaged. I received my replacement within 5-7 business days. I’ve had two in the past month that have broken and I have took care of them good I just plug it right in and play but I can tell they are not good quality yes it does the job but the product should last for at least a whole month.

I originally bought this to record but honestly did not find any use for it until later on. I have left it as it with no signs of actual usage. Now I find it and want to try and use it and now all of a sudden, PC audio is no longer working and all I can hear is the audio coming from the xbox. Is the wiring this terrible? Like on paper, this thing would be a beast when it comes to recording or streaming on console and having the recording or stream hear in game chat or being able to hear your friends on discord while playing on console. But no, the wiring is so bad. Its like you guys had someone do the wiring off of temu and called it a day with no testing. Seriously, this is the equivalent of when mercedes had one of their cars come with degradable wiring thinking that it was a good idea when it wasn't. Does that apply to this product as well? Elgato usually is a hit but sometimes they can deliver misses and this is one of them. Obviously this is a 5 star it might be the best chat link cable. But it gets shortage too fast I just recently bought one and it came with a shortage I have no idea wtf they doing if they fix that we perfect but noooo
