These lights are easy to set up and use. They look nice in front of my house during the holiday season. The only reason I awarded four rather than five stars for sturdiness and durability is because the bags are prone to tearing along creases when handling the bags in cold temperatures. This occurs when trying to remove the ground anchor pegs. If I take my time and handle carefully, the bags do not tear. But, if I hurry, I have torn the bags. I use a roll of white Duck tape to repair the tear. I doubt this would occur at warmer temperatures. But when temperature is below freezing, the plastic becomes brittle. ... show more

I ordered 4 of these (had to do it individually to get them in a timely manner, lol) and only needed 3 for my circle drive. We placed the fourth set at our daughter's, just up the street. They looked very nice and were different from the other houses in the area. Rather than filling the bottles with water, my husband packed them full of sand, so they were quite heavy. They still blew over with some of our West Texas winds, but were so much better (and safer) than paper bags and candles. Easy to assemble, as well. ... show more

Tested lights prior to setup to ensure they all worked - and they did - until I set the bags up on my front patio, placed the lights in only to find that once I plugged it in 3 of the lights failed. The wiring is cheap. If you jiggle the light wire, the faulty lights may come on but not for long. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money. ... show more

Using two sets currently...took about an hour to assemble 20 lanterns. They are about 30ft in length so I bought more sets than needed. Time consuming to assemble bc need to take care not to rip as you square up each luminary corner. They arrive flat packed. In 4 days of use, 7 bulbs have burned out. Be prepared to replace Bulbs daily. Maybe these are cheapo bulbs and the ones I buy will be better...or they were rattled too much in shipping? Cord surging? Time will tell. They look gorgeous, neighbors love them, but very high maintenance with daily bulb replacement so far. ... show more

Love the neighborhood luminaries at the end each year. But so tired of the sand, bag, and candle work. So, I ordered these Elf Logic set of 10 electric luminary bags to try out next year. They are fairly easy to assemble. Even though description states incandescent bulbs these are actually LED bulbs. LED bulbs are much cooler temperature wise and use 5 time less electricity and last 25 years+ under normal use. This is a string of ten 0.6-Watt LED bulbs for a total of 6 Watts per string/set. If these were incandescent bulbs you would be looking at 25 Watts per string/set. They are bright with a bit of yellow. If I were to be really picky, I would suggest a tiny bit thicker bag material but to otherwise I pretty much do not have any cons for these. I may experiment with LED flicker flame lights later but for now these seem great as is. ... show more
