I've been looking for elevated bowls for my two senior cats as they were starting to have trouble comfortably reaching down to their floor level bowls. Since this bowl is elevated but flat, I thought I'd give it a try it as a water bowl (I've found that the slanted elevated bowls work best for their dry food). Although this bowl was too shallow to work as a water bowl, it's very nice so I ended up keeping it to use for their wet food. It's incredibly sturdy, with a nicely weighted base that prevents it from falling over. The surface is smooth and easy to wipe clean and the entire bowl is incredibly stylish. The height is at a perfect level and the bowl is wide and shallow enough where their whiskers don't hit the sides, which I appreciate greatly. Again, it's too shallow to hold more than one or two servings of water (or food), so this bowl may not be the one for you if you're unable to refill it for each feeding --or at least once daily. I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it to others, and plan to get another one asap.

The cat is so spoiled with this, I can see him snobbing around it right now! This is a very nice ceramic bowl with an excellent finish and smooth workmanship. If you care about your cat and want to treat them like royalty, look no further for an excellent dish. The dish says "Meowgod" and it's very appropriate.

This is an Amazon Vine program review. Some things just work or they don't. This Meowgod cat dish is an example of the former, a product that does one thing very well: being an elevated catfood dish. I think the name "Meowgod" is a bit strange, but the logo on the dish isn't a problem. Our cats, both quite tall, much appreciated the higher food delivery platform offered by this dish. They seem to be in a much more natural body position with the food raised higher, at about six inches, and they actually appeared less finicky with their food than most of the time. (We'll see how long that lasts.) The dish itself is well made. We got the slightly offwhite version, which is attractive and which cleans up well in the dishwasher. I guess there's not much else to say about this, as the dish functions and cleans up well, and the cats like it, clearly the most important variable.

This is a really great little food "bowl". It's a decent size - You can see a 5.6 oz can on there for scale. It's hollow on the inside but plenty sturdy, and the cats love eating off of it. One of my cats doesn't have teeth, so he tends to need to "push" food around a bit more to eat it. When it was in a deeper bowl, I noticed he wasn't finishing the food at the bottom, and when I switched to a flat plate, he was pushing a lot of it off the edge. This is a happy medium, but some of it still gets pushed off the edge (as you can see in the picture). Still, they seem to really enjoy eating off this bowl and generally eat more than they did when it was in a deeper bowl.

My cats are picky eaters and often leave half of their wet food behind in their normal cat bowls. I got this cat bowl, and every single meal was consumed in its entirety. I looked into whisker fatigue and I think my kitties were suffering from this with their other deeper bowls. Since receiving these, my cats are consuming all of their meals and are eating longer at their bowls. The nice flat surface is large and prevents whisker fatigue. The elevation provides proper neck alignment and decreases arthritis pain. It is all one piece, which I love. It is also a thick ceramic material and is super easy to clean! I love this bowl and I am so happy it helped my kitties and encouraged them to eat more and longer. I would recommend this bowl to anyone who doesn't already use a flat bowl like this for your cat. You need this.

The whiskers do NOT touch on this bowl which is such a relief. We have tried a few bowls and his whiskers always touch. This is the first bowl that is truly good for his whiskers!!
