Cool & plush. Waited a full day to let it "air" and decompress before putting on our bed. It was much more plush & expanded by then. It gave a good inch of padding when you press it down. It looks to be about 2inch thick but because it's airy, there is really only about 1 inch of actual stuffing. I really like that you can see and feel the square quilting even with a sheet over it & the deep pockets made for a great snug fit over our queen mattress with a 3 inch memory foam pad. Yes, I added this cover over both the mattress & memory foam. It helps hold everything in place. The corners and outer edges seem to be a little thicker than the middle. I wouldn't recommend it on its on for a padding unless you already enjoy your mattress as-is but does do great as a cover and protector with a little "razzle dazzle plush-ness". It made a big difference in cooling compared to having only the hot memory foam pad, which makes it worth the price in itself. I've added pics from start to the first morning after using it. Notice that it did fluff out more over time, don't be scared that it comes vaccum sealed in a small package. Fingers crossed it hold up to washing, material seems well made so im not concerned as of now. Hope this helps!

After it arrived, I placed it in the dryer for 20 min and it was like sleeping on a cloud. I don’t like our king Purple mattress so I got this twin cover for my side of the bed. It feels like a totally different bed and I couldn’t be happier!

I thought that this product would honestly be thicker based on the reviews and the price. Although it does has a nice thin cushy layer, it does not really provide added support or firmness. For the price of this item I think I would have gotten something else instead. It is a hassle to return so that is why I am not returning it.

Fabulous product for a bigger person maybe? I loved it but was drowning in it (I’ve never been so comfortable while being uncomfortable in my life hahah). Switched to a thinner feather bed with a downy 2” that still feels luxe like a cloud but allows me to not sink in so much. I switch positions frequently, I sleep on either side, my stomach or my back and the problem with a thick plush bed topper is that your feet and hands are supported by it because they are lighter while your torso sinks in causing a bowing effect while sleeping that hurts your back or requires tossing and turning. It’s a gentle drowning effect that despite the fluffy comfort of it all does not result in a good nights sleep. I am rating this high because the quality is excellent. It is fluffy and tremendously luxurious to be on and the materials and fabrication seem excellent. Feathers don’t poke you because of the top layer design. It stays where it should be on the bed because it goes on like a sheet and that keeps it from shifting. Seems they did use well cleaned feathers and sealed well making it close to hypoallergenic (I do have a mild dust/down/dander allergy and this did not aggregate it AT ALL). I can’t say anything bad about the product itself, it simply wasn’t a good fit for me personally. Perhaps for a larger person it will be perfect. I’m 5’5” and 130lbs, and needed a thinner, and a bit less dense “cloud” where I still get the heavenly fluff and puff of the down topper.
