First, I want to say the pros. The 1st Pro is that it is def a good thick memory foam. The top cover is definitely deep enough to cover the foam and be snug under and around your Mattress. I have slept on it for almost a week and my arms do not go numb anymore. I have a very expensive mattress that has a special lumbar middle to prevent sagging and back pain. My mattress is amazing but too firm. This topper helped alleviate the pressure point issues I was having with sleeping. Now the CONS. 1st of all…. The chemical smell! OMG it makes your eyes and nostrils burn. It is not something that can be ignored. It smells like nail polish and formaldehyde! Horrible. I almost sent it back because my lungs burned from the smell! I mean I’ve never smelled anything so horrible in my life. It is winter in Western PA so airing it outside is impossible! I tried to let it air out before I slept on it but it needed a few days to do so. I have a king size bed so airing it out in a separate room was not happening. I had to open my windows in my bedroom and turn my ceiling fan on for an entire day turning the foam over mid day. Then I sprayed it with Febreeze. It’s been a week and it is ok to sleep on, but it still has a faint smell. The topper is not 2 inches.. it is at most 1/2 inch and it is not cooling. It actually makes me warm. Overall I have to keep it because how can I return it?? And the foam is great. If you don’t want to endure the smell and process then don’t order. Otherwise it is a decent topper I just don’t understand why it smells so badly??

When I received this bed topper, I left it on the floor over night to fully expand . The next day I put it on the bed and trimmed the corners from square to round so it would better fit my bed. The support is great and it is so comfortable. I have slept on firm mattresses all my life. 1 year ago had a mattress made for me at a mattress factory The mattress is great, but as the years have added slight changes to my body, it was time to make the bed more comfortable. Now there is No more morning stiffness in my lower back and my quality of sleep is better. The foam is supportive and smells nice and clean. The topper adds a cloud like comfort. As for me, I am very pleased with the product! No regrets here!

This was one of the best purchases I have ever made. We had a down alternative fill only topper on our bed for a few years. Ever since it was brand new. It ended up caving in where we laid, even with me flipping it every 90 days. I decided to get this and our bed has never been so comfortable. My husband sleeps better and more soundly than he ever has. I am more comfortable sleeping with my physical issues as well. So much better. I would highly recommend this topper if you need a new one.

The 2" blue foam does not cover size of the mattress, although it's very comfy, topper is nice. But this will drive me bonkers in no time not fitting right under topper, makes bed look lumpy.

Take a 37-year-old mattress, add this foam topper + the cloud-like pad on top, then place an all cotton mattress pad on top of that, and then a nice fitted sheet, and you have a winner. At first I thought this foam topper felt a little " too hard" - but after a couple weeks, I can feel my body "slightly" molding to everything. There is no "dipping" down or sinking feeling, but rather it feels like there are some soft curves gently surrounding my body. I'm actually impressed. I am glad I was patient for the topper "to break in" with my body type (5'7" tall, 145 lbs. for reference). Otherwise, I may have returned it after the first few days (again, because it felt almost too firm) - but now, it's just the perfect combination of firmness and softness. With that said, I am still going to experiment and place my 5-star hotel featherbed on top of this topper, LOL, because I've always wanted one! (I actually ordered two different luxury featherbeds over the holiday and expect them any day now. I will experiment and try both for a few nights sleep each.) It will be interesting to see if I even need or want a featherbed topper anymore. It actually won't surprise me if neither featherbed adds anything substantial to my now sound sleeping experience, as they may end up being "too soft" or "too hard" - and I quite possibly will miss how my Elemuse foam topper/pad seems to be the perfect feel for my body now. If so, I will ditch and return the featherbeds. Either way, the Elemuse topper stays! I'll update and let you know. But I can attest right now, this foam topper is good on its own!! But please remember, sleep on it for at least a week or two, and let the foam "break-in." ONLY THEN judge for your own body. Finally, if you're a "hot" sleeper like I am - see tip below: NOTE TO THE MANUFACTURER: Regarding advertising your natural and breathable "Bamboo" cloud-like pad that goes on top of the foam - PLEASE mention the actual fabric content amount - i.e. 40% Bamboo (viscose) and the rest is polyester. I was led to believe this pad was 100% Bamboo, the way you advertise. I had no clue the majority was polyester until I read the tag. Fortunately, I purchased beforehand a 100% cotton mattress pad (with no polyester), that I placed on top or your bamboo/poly pad - and yes, I sleep cool, but only because of what I did. Consider making your pad with 100% Bamboo (viscose). But please be upfront with your description, that your pad has both bamboo AND poly (40% Bamboo, 60% poly.) And for hot sleepers like myself, just cover with an *all cotton* mattress pad, and you will be fine! I was going to take off a star, but I decided not to ding your company, as your product is quality :-)

We’ve been using this topper for about a month. We didn’t experience any bad smell upon arrival as some other reviews have mentioned. We allowed it to expand for 24 hours before placing it on our bed. The foam is two inches but the cover is definitely not a true inch; I was hoping it would be a little fluffier. We have an expensive high-end mattress that is just too firm (it’s always so hard to tell in the store showroom!) and this has helped make it more comfortable.
