So I have, literally, the worlds rarest soft bone disease. I’m 37 y/o have bad degenerative disks in back PLUS lumbarization. The disease itself causes massive all day non stop chronic pain with flair up’s that send me to the er, just in the last 3yrs I’ve broken 6 bones, and lost count of surgeries. I’d wake up every morning and my back would hurt so bad that getting out of bed was at least a 10 min process sometimes with a tear or two running down my cheek (and I have high pain tolerance) ..just to get up. I also would wake up hourly due to the pain and would painfully roll over moaning out loud in pain then falling back to sleep took forever because of the pain. I didn’t think this looked like it would help, but I did months of research and I was looking for something a bit more hard but my husband liked the mattress just fine. It says progressively your back starts to get better, no after the first night I slept on the twin size I put only on my side, not only did I only wake up 3 times that night, but I was able to much more easily roll over and pass right back out. And when I got up for the first time that morning in over three years I got up all in one smooth motion and got right up! Like 80% of my pain was gone. I’m not kidding. I even posted it on my soft bones support group Facebook page to tell others. Wanted to let husband try it one night, but didn’t want to give up the lack of pain even A single night lol, but I was willing to just go and buy the king size one without him trying it first bc I’m that confidant he will love it too. We put this on top of a 6 year old name brand, mattress in a box mattress and fell in love! My husband and I both were so relieved with the quality of sleep we got from the softness. You just sort of melt into it and it holds you in all the right places. I didn't realize that it came as a 3 part system- the memory foam, the cooling gel, and then the white padded fitted sheet that goes over the other 2 pieces. I have found that from getting in and out of bed, it scoots the layers off of each other slowly and then when changing the sheets, it is necessary to scoot the layers back together. The start to slide off the bed out from under the sheet-- this is the reason for only 4 stars. Otherwise, we absolutely love this topper! ... show more

WOW! This mattress topper is so comfortable. I just received, unpackaged it then put it on mu bed. Feels like I bought a new high end mattress. It just the right level of firmness for me. The mattress it covers is a firm top that I hoped would break in after a while but it didnt after several years of use. I tried different toppers over the years but spending a little extra money for this one seems to be well worth it. It appears high quality but time is quality's test. I recently had to replace my mattress. I like firm so went with the Plank Luxe. It was too firm. Returning it sounded like a terrible experience so i bought this topper. Slept great...and it gave me the cushion that was missing. I woke up without the usual aches and pains. So happy. It was simple to put on the a king bed...i did use a mattress protector over top of everything because i have pets. I initially bought this topper to help with my husband's back pain from spinal fusion(2yrs since surgery). He and I both love the comfort of the topper since it's very supportive of our backs while it's still soft enough to ease into. I'll update later on in 3 weeks to see if it helps his chronic pain. But so far the first night has helped him quite a bit. Pain not fully gone of course but it's easier for him to start his day! All I can say is WOW! This memory foam and topper is amazing! I wanted to wait for a little while before reviewing this product. This turned our bed into a new sleeping experience, I tried other toppers and they helped but this one with the 2” memory foam is awesome, I would recommend not to try this product during your work week, because you might oversleep, I didn’t want to get out of bed after my first night sleep, so try it on your first day off. I cannot speak to longevity as I’ve only had it a few weeks, but it’s made a world of difference on an old stiff as a board mattress in a camper trailer that I’m having to use while building a house. Would definitely recommend.
