I have tried so so many makeup removers in my day, I'm 56 years old, and I have to say this is the best one I have ever used. While shopping on Amazon for something else, I got a popup for a product from some influencer. I don't typically bother to look at them but this time I did. I watched her use it and was intrigued so I ordered a small jar. The first night I used it I realized a little goes a long way and once I washed it off, my makeup was gone. No need to use cream remover and then a face wash. This does it all. Leaves my face soft and clean. Of course I apply my night time cream after that and that's it. Living in a climate where the average humidity level is below 5%, it’s extremely difficult to find a face cleanser that does not strip all of the moisture from your face along with the day’s grime and whatever is left of my makeup. My search is over. I’ve been using the Rose version of this Elemis cleansing balm for about 100 days now and this is the first winter in many that my face feels supple and my skin is not flaky and tight and DRY as the desert. My makeup goes on better and looks better because it’s not sitting on top of a disgusting layer of flaky dry winter skin; it actually blends into my skin-as it should year-round. I rub a decent amount of this balm right into my dry face in a circular motion with my fingers then rinse thoroughly with a wash cloth or sponge soaked in tepid water. Follow up with my nightly moisturizer and, for the first January in my memory, haven’t woke up with tight dry skin yet! Two thumbs way up! Leaves my face feeling supple and clean. I got the travel size and it is pretty small. I don’t think it will last more than 3 weeks using it consistently. I will say that this is my favorite cleansing balm. It is super smooth on the skin and even a small amount cause NO pulling of the skin. It has a very strong spa scent but I loved it. I have gotten away with using makeup wipes as I felt that they left a weird film and never filled cleansed my face. This balm is truly wonderful. I wear makeup daily and I used to despise taking it all off at night especially my mascara but I don’t have that problem anymore. A little goes a long way and melts the makeup off. my immediate reaction is that it didn’t really know my mascara off as easily as I had hoped and did it kind of sting my eyes a little bit but I had gotten distracted while doing it and open my eyes so that’s kind of why and it went away pretty very quickly and I don’t feel it at all anymore my eyelashes are soft and I did use it with a cleansing wipes I got this in hopes to take my mascara off more gently. If this becomes a new daily routine instead of a make up wipes rubbing my eyes I will update my review. It smells good it smells good.. not like Tea tree oil but similar to that. I liked the scent of this. It’s like an essential oil clean smell. It feels great on the skin but does not wash off all makeup especially mascara. It’s super tiny and lasted me only a few weeks. I will not purchase again as there are other washes out there where you get more for your money.

Great product. Feels luxurious and does what it says. Removes makeup. My skin feels clean and hydrated. Remember to use the cloth included with warm water to gently remove product (don’t remove it completely). My skin feels moisturized and has the glowy look I love!
