This thing prints easily right out of the box. Elegoo customer service is top of the line so rest assured if there are any issues they will help you. The Wi-Fi is pretty good at the moment I was able to send files with their slicer and chitubox with only one file having an issue on 6 prints so far. The build plate is nice and so is the fep film. This is the first printer I'm not going to get a flex plate for. Can't recommend this enough for anyone wanting to print bigger high quality prints! ... show more

I have the Mars 2 Pro, Saturn 2 8k and now this bad how. I love the laser etched plate, leveling feet and Wi-Fi capability. Literally all printers should have come with this for the past few years. Only had to level the plate once but I didn’t use the card stock. I level with the vat. New build plate attachment system is secure but could use a design change in how the bolts are placed. One bolt gets in the way of tightening another. The attachment for the built plate would also be better if it held the plate when turned at a right angle so it can drip drain. ... show more

as the headline says, its a damned good printer, using it for printing miniatures (28mm scale, and some few 6mm scale), and it gets the job done

    • Great specs, great potential, missed opportunities
The printer can put out some amazing prints, and has genuinely given me the best prints of my life. The only thing preventing me from a 5 star review is the construction of the z tower, but this can be overcome by using a work around. If they would fix the construction around the z tower to stop it from tilting when homing, without having to invent your own work around, this would be the absolute best printer on the market, with the best price. Just be aware some printers will have a tilting z tower issue without implementing your own work around. ... show more

This is my 2nd resin printer, and I never thought this level of detail would be possible. You must do your research and be patient. If you rush to the first thing you’re excited about, it will likely fail. Take the time to get this dialed in, and you will have the most beautiful prints in the world! I bought this printer as an upgrade to my older Saturn 2 printer and it works quite well. I print mainly miniatures and the resolution is fantastic. I haven't had a failed print yet. The best feature for me is the wireless send to printer and saves a lot of time and effort using a usb stick. One problem to mention is that when using a Lychee slicer, my prints get mirrored and comes out backwards in the X axis. Now a big deal as the slicer has a function to mirror the file, you just need to remember to do this before printing. I believe that Lychee is working to fix this problem. ... show more

My printer will constantly forget z Height and start ramming the build plate into the LCD when you tell it to print something. Its extremely disappointing that this printer I was sent at least passed quality control. So far my experience is. I'll print several rounds of very high quality miniatures. Then randomly it just starts ramming the build plate into the LCD when I ask it to print the next thing. Whatever it may happen to be. Super easy to use... when its working. ... show more

Bought my Elegoo Saturn a little over 2 months ago on a impulse buy as I was getting into some tabletop games. I absolutely love the thing. It produces great prints and is really easy to use. There are some issues wear and tear issues that can and will occur from time to time but the Elegoo support staff seem to be really quick to respond and are really (in my case less then a day) and had no issues with sending replacement parts. Would Highly recommend this printer for those looking to get into resin printing on a decent scale. Pros: Easy to setup and use Produces great print quality Easy to work on Great customer support Large community that is willing to assist with settings, issues, and showing off prints Cons: Can have technical/mechanical issues Resin is a pain to clean up (no way around this, just the nature of the material) ... show more
