Replaced my old tank heater with this unit and have been very pleased with it. I had a plumber re-pipe my laundry room and an electrician run the new increased amps circuit. Also added an inline descaler with a 3 year service life which is very nice. My house is 2 bathrooms and I only ever use 1 or 2 points of use at a time. A shower and the washer together would be my largest load on this system and it can keep up with no problem. Anything more and I would probably go with a larger 3/4" unit. It does take several seconds to heat up when the water in the pipes is cold, but once it does the water stays consistently hot. This unit also had the best warranty for the price out of all the other units I was considering. When I saw steam coming out of my washer I knew I had made a good purchase with this product.

Didn’t work once it was installed. We got no hot water. Had to buy another unit from Lowes. Installed to same way. The new one worked great. We done everything the same. Had to return defective unit. Follow Up from Greatbear. Customer service reached out to me next day. They asked me to go over the hook up. I explained that I needed to buy a new water heater. They fully understood my situation. They reassured me I would reach a full refund. They also helped out to off set my added cost for new unit. It was unfortunate that I received a damaged unit, however I would buy from Greatbear again if I needed a tankless hot water heater because of there great customer service. Thumbs up on customer service.

I was needing something fast because my old style water heater tank rusted thru up top (?) and of course they're $1300 even a 6 gallon tank is $500. Being the way things are now, money was an option to me and a $1100 difference was huge. I just got it hooked up and right off the bat I had a "EF" code come up. I'm thinking "thats about right", I didn't check anything cause I already new all the work of installing it was right. I sat and thought, cussed alil bit and like any other smart person would have done (not me) I turn the shower (water control valve, I recommend it) I turned over to "HOT" and almost instant I had hot water after weeks without it. My point to my reveiw is to put out there incase anyone else has had that problem, just turn the hot water on if urs is showing a "EF" code and u know all the installation work is correct that should fix the problem, or it did for me. Update to my review. This tankless water heater just went thru what would be considered brutally cold here where I am, all I did was turned down the pressure alil bit and it's still doing just fine. I'm more than satisfied with this product.

awful...barely gets warm...its on 1 shower.. unit less than 2 ft away from mixing valve ..installed everything mint...save your money..im returning it after I spent the 125 on wire and more on install..what a joke

I highly recommend this Electric Tankless Water Heater for saving on your monthly electrical bill. and the unit provides hot water on demand which I like the most about its efficiencies. The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service is second to none. I needed a little assistance because I'm not a plumber and all of my questions was responded too within the same day. Pricing is fair and transparent - definitely value for your money.

My tanked water heater broke down. Plumber was charging me 2000 in total for the replacement. Bought this for around 200 and paid plumber 400 for the install. This worked great. Endless heat. There are 3 sinks 2 baths in my home and it provides endless water for all. It goes on standby while no hot water is needed so it’s power saving too. I recommend switching even if your tanked water heater is still good. Can’t believe such a small thing is doing the work of a large tanked waterheater.
