I took a chance on purchasing this little inexpensive water heater for my outdoor Tiki bar. It had questionable reviews. I replaced a Bosch unit that was much more expensive that kept failing on me. What an amazing product. I've had it for a while. I will say the threads need to be cleaned up on the inlet and outlet, they're not standard 1/2" threads for shark bites. But who cares, I threaded them on with the biggest set of channel locks I had with some pipe dope What an amazing heater, I'd give it 10/5 stars. This thing will burn your biscuits. Im running it 110v maybe 11a in a camper. I absolutely love it Best value for dollar hands down, enough water pressure to water your lawn, and big enough to take a 1 hour power shower without even having the puppy plugged in If I had to buy one every year I would.

The item appeared to be previously used, as the threaded pipes where you would attach water lines was all dented as if it had been hammered on. The same part was cocered with plastic caps and when I removed those all this black material feel off? Not sure what it was, if the threads were worn, or it was some sort of thread sealer that was used on it previously. I hooked it up and it took about 1 hr 20 minutes to heat up at the highest setting. Cold water temp was about 50 degrees. When I first used it, a whole bunch of brown rust colored water came out. At first I thought it was another sign of being previously used and water or mousture in the tank caused it to rust. But then I read that the tank and heating element are both stainless steel. So I have no idea what that was all about. Then day 2 or 3 it started leaking right out the front middle. Wasn’t coming from th pipe connections, so no idea how it was leaking. I mean, a water heater should do 2 things - heat up at a rate that matches how it is advertised and - NOT LEAK. So, not stoked. Ironically, amazon processed a replacement request that I didn’t even ask for… so we will see how well the other one works. Hopefully it doesn’t end up costing me to send back the faulty one.

We tried a small instant water heater from Amazon and since that didn't work so well, we replaced it with this unit. We've had this unit for a few weeks now and it's a game changer!!!! The water is so hot, I actually needed to turn it down. We have it in a Tiki Bar by our pool and control it with a switched outlet, and that has eliminated it running 24/7. I go out in the morning to turn it on, it takes about 30ish min to get to temp (There is light on the front showing if it's heating or not) and we're good to go. The surprising part is that if you are just washing a couple of glasses with hot water, it doesn't even turn on. When washing lots of dishes and platters from BBQing, the hot water keeps up easily. I have no leaks at all, it was installed using the hardware they supplied, just can't get better. This is a real review, they sent me nothing, and I have nothing to do with this company. IF YOU NEED A SMALL WATER HEATER, BUY THIS UNIT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!

Alas, even though this product is designed well with quality components, including the parts for installation, the whole product was too big to fit under our kitchen counter. Had to return. Maybe I should have consulted a certified plumber before ordering.

My bathroom is at the farthest point away from my water heater. My plumber installed this unit under the sink and I love it! Instant hot water to wash my face & hands. It's been installed almost a year of perfect service. Heat level adjusts, super quite. Great brand!!

although not been able to contact for a warranty replacement the company replied to the negative comment and refunded the money. i rarely do reviews and have problems but its nice to know there are still companies that take accountability for their products. Exellent customer service after a negative review my only issue a person should not be able to leave a bad review and i wasnt expecting anything out of it. just make it easier to do a Warranty claim this thing broke after 3 1/2 months of use. temperature setting was mid-range and keep in mind i bought it in July and part of August in phoenix, AZ so the first month it wouldn't even turn on due to the water already been hot. filling a warranty claim with this is been a pain in the ass
