I had a pro install it for r me just now, no leaks, comes on but on the temperature control I don't one I how far to turn it. There are no numbers or anything. I guess I have to figure out the temperature by feeling the water and go back and forth adjusting the knob till I got it where I want it at.

It heats up very quick and water is HOT. However mine leaks from hot water outlet i noticed the threads were already a little scratched up when i first opened it. Just had to put a bowl under to catch the drops of water.

We tried a small instant water heater from Amazon and since that didn't work so well, we replaced it with this unit. We've had this unit for a few weeks now and it's a game changer!!!! The water is so hot, I actually needed to turn it down. We have it in a Tiki Bar by our pool and control it with a switched outlet, and that has eliminated it running 24/7. I go out in the morning to turn it on, it takes about 30ish min to get to temp (There is light on the front showing if it's heating or not) and we're good to go. The surprising part is that if you are just washing a couple of glasses with hot water, it doesn't even turn on. When washing lots of dishes and platters from BBQing, the hot water keeps up easily. I have no leaks at all, it was installed using the hardware they supplied, just can't get better. This is a real review, they sent me nothing, and I have nothing to do with this company. We purchased this through Amazon on May 26, 2025 to provide better hot water to the rear kitchen of our 5th wheel camper. I installed it quickly and it worked great on several camping trips. However, on our last trip it quit heating the water after about four days. The red light would come on showing power, but the water would not heat as before. After looking at the manual I ended up turning it off and unplugging it. When I got home I reviewed the manual again and noticed it showed a reset button behind the front panel to prevent it from heating with no water. While the tank was full of water, I thought it might have tripped accidentally. I took off the panel and was shocked to see burnt wires and black flakes (see green circles in attached picture). I'm thinking this could have caught the camper on fire. At any rate I've emailed the company based on the email address in the manual with no response (this was several days ago before finding the burnt wires). The manual indicates a one year warranty, but is not clear. While this may be a one in a million issue, I can't give them a good review. UPDATE: After this review, the company contacted me through Amazon and refunded my full purchase. I appreciate them doing that. ... show more
