Glad I got this one. Most of the others in this price range are 2 piece tops, I'm sure to cut down on the shipping cost. This one is a solid 1/2 inch of dense wood. I got the black (40") and it has no scratches on it or anything. Looks fairly durable. It was easy to put together. Took me about an hour, taking my time. Instructions were fine. The one thing I did different was to put the feet on after I connected the base to the top, and I left all the screws not fully tightened until the very end, so I could make sure everything was lined up perfectly. There is a slight wobble side to side, but I only notice it if I push on it. Would need a cross brace to make it perfect, and no back to back wobble. Otherwise really solid. The product is overall really good but I’m a little disappointed with it not being very sturdy and very wobbly. It was easy to assemble, but it’s clear that it needs crossbar farther down on the legs to keep it stable and less wobbly cause I know I screwed it together very well And assembled it well cause I am handy but it’s very easily wobbly. I’m also disappointed with how short the cable to plug it in is to use the sit stand function but it’s also really disappointing is that if you don’t have it plugged into the wall directly, it won’t work. I tried purchasing an extension cord exclusively for this plug and I used extension plugs that are power strips as well and nothing worked, unless it was plugged directly into the wall and like I said because the cord is so short, it has to be literally be against the wall which is impossible in my apartment because I have baseboard heaters. Overall, it’s a good starter work from home desk and I’m not too terribly disappointed but it is annoying that I can’t use all the functions. ... show more

Nice and steady desk. Beautiful addition to my home office( I got the white one). Assembly manual was easy to read and took around 30m to have the desk ready to use. lifting noise of the device that is accurately placed next to the right side is fine. There are 1 uplift and 1 down buttons on the right side as well. The only downside is relatively short cord(around 50”) extension definitely needed. Recommend! ... show more
