I have had this snow thrower for a couple weeks or so and have used it only once. I used it to remove snow from my walkway and my double car garage driveway. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver for a senior person like myself. It is relatively inexpensive and a great value. I was actually surprised at how well it performed. I do have to be mindful of the cord but that is the only thing I found to be just a little annoying but not a deal breaker for me. It moved the snow with little effort and I am glad I purchased this one. I am in Alaska where we have 6 feet snow accumulation right now. It snows a LOT here. We- well I needed a backup to my husband's old and clunky gas machine and I am so glad I chose this one. So easy to put together and lightweight, I can handle this!!! Which was my main concern. The price point is perfect. Powers through snow and tosses like a pro. I think I would even beat my husband's machine if we had a competition. Sure I wish it were wireless but it does what i needed it to do with no issue, now I can clear my pathways clear my own ... show more

A few things really surprised me: - It was lighter than I expected (and that's totally fine, it made maneuvering that much easier) - It was easy to assemble (It was only in a few parts that needed simple screws/handles attached) - How powerful it was once it started throwing the snow (Really powered through the snow) This thankfully arrived the day before a pretty decent snow. I got it assembled easily that night and used it first thing after the snow had stopped in the morning. Having never used one of any sort before, I wasn't sure how it would go. But once it hit the snow and I had the thrower aimed correctly, it was super easy. Having it be so light made it real easy to change directions. I myself just need some more experience on the turns and whatnot, but I'm excited for the next snow to throw it where I please! Honestly, all I need now is a longer extension cord! ... show more

I bought this after a recommendation of my friend. My driveway is one of those driveways that has rough surface by design, to retain /absorb rain water. The down side of which is, it is very hard to shovel. Since it is very reasonably priced, I thought it is worth the investment to try it out this winter.
