I have a Caroma electric skateboard that I had lost the remote to and was looking for a replacement one. I read online that most remotes will work as long as it is on the 2.4 GHZ bandwidth. This one did successfully pair to my board and completely worked as intended. The only downside is that there's no instructions on how to actually pair it to your board. The way I did it is by just holding down the power button on my board for 5 seconds until it blinked and then holding down the power button on the remote. After a couple of seconds it paired to the board and all functions of the remote worked with the board. It's charged with a USB Micro, and it does not come with a charger so make sure you have one if you want this thing to charge.

Leaving a review to help others who are needing a new remote that actually works. My son got the Caroma electric board for Christmas and lost his remote within a month. I tried two other remotes that didnt work, but this one paired and worked immediately. Pairing was tricky without instructions, but I just held down the two front circle buttons until it started flashing and that worked like a charm. He’s back up and going just in time for summer :)

It’s cheaply made and didn’t even come with a cord to charge it. I got a remote I can use without buying a cord. I waited a month even receive it! Ridiculous!!

It did not pair with my Swagtron skateboard. The remotes for both look identical. Had no problem getting them both into pairing mode but they just would never pair.
