The media could not be loaded. This appears to be a very solid little scooter. Purchased for Christmas and we have ridden it like crazy ever since with zero issues except for a couple of bolts that needed to be tightened on the rear disc brake, but that’s totally to be expected. Always check all the bolts on a new bike out of the box. 1. Speed: In a word… awesome! It will definitely hit 17 miles an hour on the right occasions (confirmed with GPS), and the advertised 15.5 mph is totally accurate. Acceleration is surprisingly brisk when needed. Throttle response is smooth, proportional, and immediate. 2. Battery life: Outstanding. My 12 year-old (see video) can zip around the neighborhood for three or four hours nonstop before it needs to be charged. If you want to ride at a constant speed for a long distance, the battery will take you further without all of the stopping and accelerating. We still don’t know the maximum range, but we can go out for a 6 mile ride and it barely takes one bar off of the 4-bar battery status indicator. 3. Build quality and ease of assembly: All that needs to happen out of the box is to install the handlebars, and top off the air in the tires to 40psi. Note that there is a quick release mechanism that holds the handlebars to the top of the riser, so please disregard the review that talks about the handlebars being backwards. This was clearly an installation error on their part, and they could easily flip them around, so I have no idea why they would leave that in a review. We rode the thing wide open throttle for 6 miles and then checked the temperature of the rear hub and it was barely even warm to the touch. In my mind, this is a very good sign. 4. Ride experience: The seat is very comfortable and can easily be adjusted for a wide range of rider sizes. Rear hub motor is virtually silent. The only ding for me is that the front disk brake is a little squeaky. Overall it feels very stable and smooth at any speed. Between the nice size tires and the spring seat, it soaks up road noise very nicely. Just add a nice taillight and the scooter is complete. The built-in headlight can be turned on or off with the key and it is very adequate for daytime awareness, and for nighttime riding. Bought on sale for $220 before Christmas. If it ever drops to that price again, I would buy another immediately. Fingers crossed that the electronics and battery hold up over time. ... show more

Been using this little electric scooter with a seat for a few weeks now, mostly for quick trips to the store or cruising around the neighborhood. The rear basket has been great for groceries or tossing in my backpack. It feels solid on the road, and folding it up is quick. It’s got some weight, but I can still lift it into my car trunk without trouble. On flat streets, it goes about 15 mph, which works well for short rides. The battery lasts me a couple of days with light use. The seat is comfortable enough for short trips, though I’d take a break before riding for a full hour.
