I’ve been using it to create temporary and semi‑permanent boundaries for my chickens and quail. Here’s my experience after setting it up and testing it in real outdoor conditions. Setup & Installation The kit includes the netting, posts, and double‑spiked stakes. The posts are lightweight but sturdy enough for soft to moderately firm ground. I was able to set the fence up by myself, though installing the corner posts took a bit more effort to get tension right. The double‑spiked stakes help with stability, especially on uneven soil. It took me longer to unravel it than to put it in the ground around the perimeter as a test. Build Quality The PE netting feels durable and flexible, and the horizontal conductive lines are well‑integrated. The mesh spacing is appropriate for chickens and larger poultry. For smaller birds like quail, I wouldn’t rely on this as a primary containment method, but it works well as a perimeter barrier to keep predators out. Performance Once connected to a compatible energizer (not included) and ground, the fence carried current consistently. It’s effective at discouraging ground predators and keeping curious birds from pushing through. The height is good for standard‑sized chickens and ducks. In windy conditions, the fence held up without sagging, though adding a few extra support posts would help if you’re in an exposed area. be aware when i first put it up, the stray cats got caught in it before i turned it on. it was a learning curve. i had to lift either the cat or the fence to get them out. Practical Use This fencing is best suited for rotational grazing, temporary pens, or protecting garden areas. It’s easy to move once you get the hang of rolling and unrolling the netting. The bright color and mesh visibility also help prevent accidental tangling when relocating it. What Could Be Improved The included posts work, but heavier‑duty corner posts would make the fence feel more secure. Instructions are basic; beginners may need a video reference to understand proper tensioning. An energizer and ground is required but not included, so buyers should plan for that additional purchase. this ended up being really handy for making a safer temporary area for our chickens and ducks without having to build a permanent fence right away. it was easier to set up than i expected once we got the posts spaced out, and the height feels decent for keeping the birds contained. the netting is lightweight enough to move around when needed, which i like because we shift grazing areas sometimes. definitely make sure you pull it tight during setup or it can sag a bit in spots. the electric part worked fine once connected properly, and it gave me a little more peace of mind about predators wandering through at night. not completely foolproof of course, but a good option if you want something more flexible than regular fencing.

This electric net fencing looks like the pictures, and comes with everything pictured. The “extras” are really helpful for getting the fence to stand properly in my sandy soil. It was relatively easy to put up the fence, although I have put up fences like this before and it is easiest with 2 people. The stakes and fence holders are comparatively better quality than another fence I have. The netting is also good quality. The fence has kept my ducks and geese out of the garden, so it is accomplishing its purpose. I think the price is reasonable for the quality and the length of fence. I would get this again.

This electric netting fence works great as a temporary fence for containing my goats and turkeys. I really like the approximately 4 foot length. Most of my electric netting fences are almost a foot shorter, so this taller fence makes it harder for predators to jump over. The smaller squares at the bottom makes this a good fence for keeping poultry in. These fences can be a bit of a pain to install at first, but once you get the hang of it they arent too bad. I can install this by myself, but I would recommend two people the first couple times. The fence is sturdy enough to stand up to the weather, but not sturdy enough to handle animals trying to stand on it or break through it repeatedly, but if you keep it electrified and train your animals to an electric fence they should never want to touch it. When you take this fence down fold it as the instructions say, dont roll it or it will become a tangled mess. Be sure to stake the corner posts to keep the electrified wires off the ground so the fence continues to operate properly. Pair this with a good fence energizer, make sure you install a good ground rod and this becomes a very nice, very portable way to contain your animals and non flying birds.

A few years back i bought an electric net fence for my chickens. Not for containment but more for their protection. Walked into the local farm supply store to grab another one as we wanted to increase the area. I was shocked at the price tag, thought I'd take a look online. You always hear you get what you pay for so I was prepared for an inferior product. Not the case here. This fence is actually a better quality than the one I was using. For the most part the lines were about the same, but thin one had more horizontal lines. The stakes have a nicer texture and feel stout. The color of the lines is nice an bright, time will tell if it dulls with the sunlight. The included add-ons although not a reason to purchase this one are a nice touch. The most useful of those add ons is the replacement caps for the stakes. If you lose those it the fence integrity is comprised. If you are not familiar with the construction of this style fence, the stakes attach only at the top and bottom of the fence, the stake is just weaved through the other horizontal lines. Green lines have 3 look to be stainless wires, while the top yellow line has 6. The green lines are about 1/16" and the yellow is a little thicker around 3/32" Overall really happy with the fence, significantly lower cost than the local store. I even bought another one cause the original will need to be retired at some point and you rarely see value like this.

Ordered this electric mesh net fence to use to separate out our sheep from our vegetable garden. I have two other similar fences, so have some experience with such fences, as well as some basis of comparison. I am very happy with this fence. The mesh that comprises it is very good quality, being thicker and more durable than the others that I have. Additionally, the fiberglass poles are very sturdy, with the attached metal stakes easily penetrating the ground, and holding the fence taut. At 47 inches, the height of this fence is perfect for both smaller and larger farm animals (chickens and larger sheep), safely keeping them away from harmful plants or from doing harm to the garden. The generous length of 164 feet is perfect for creating a large enclosure as well. The metal tabs at the ends of this fence make it simple to string several of these fences together so that the electrical conduction is a continuous current. With the charger attached, this fence effectively ran an electrical charge along its entire life. I was particularly impressed with the careful design and packaging of this fencing, which made it easy to lay out, and set up without becoming tangled. The directions are clear and well laid out, and the videos provided on the listing are easy to follow. I was able to unpackage, lay out, and put up this fence alone in under 15 minutes. I’m very happy with the quality of this product, as well as with the very reasonable price being asked, and will likely order another of the same in the near future. Readily recommend!

This fencing works in normal conditions, but the stakes didn’t stay upright when snow stuck to it. The weight of the snow pulled the entire fence over. The stakes are not able to fully support the weight of the fence if it gets heavy from snow or ice. Pros: • Easy setup • Good coverage Cons: • Not stable in snow • Stakes can shift Works in fair weather but struggles in winter conditions.
