The camera requires pretty significant movement to trigger PIR, and 15 meters stated range is far from not the case. The night vision is all but useless in > 6 foot range, and even full daylight video has roll lines from the sensor wipes. Had my wife not grabbed the box and used it for a craft project it would have been back to get my money back. It will retire in my duck coop to see who is laying this season, as it absolutely will even come close to what I needed it for originally. I needed it to determine what was digging all the small holes in my yard at night, but sitting on my porch, PIR will not even pick up my large dogs until they are 6 feet away, and starts losing them on video under night vision at about 10-15 feet.

Most of the other product reviews are for a completely different camera than the one being advertised here in January 2026. See the screen shots of the product page attached to this review. The camera I received DID match the product info, so that's good! It was securely packaged and shipped/ delivered very, very quickly. It is a compact camera that is easy to charge and use, with very basic features, and affordable price. The image quality is comparable to a standard doorbell camera (see attached image of a snowy yard taken through a spotty window). There is a little distortion at the edges of the scene, and the camera has no zoom or other focus controls. I did not test the sound on the recording. The camera used its infrared mode when I tested indoors, giving a black-and-white video with OK detail, and switched to full color recording when outside in the daytime. Videos are stored on the micro SD memory card as .avi files. Insert the memory card with the contacts facing toward the front of the camera (i.e., in the direction of the lens) and push it in until it locks in place; to remove the card, use your fingernail to quickly push it in a little more and the card will spring back for easier removal. The memory card reader is compatible with a Mac laptop (and probably also a Windows computer, but I did not have one to test with). Unfortunately, this model is programmed to divide recordings into 5-minute segments, so it will not be useful for my intended purpose, which is to create recordings that could be admissible as legal evidence and therefore need to be a single continuous video file, as opposed to being cut up. I did not find that out until I opened the package and read the enclosed instructions, so I had to return it (which was very easy to initiate). Otherwise, I do think it is a good simple camera that could be very useful in many situations.
