The instructions were clear and it was easy to put the bike together. The handles feel sturdy, and even without the battery you can still ride it manually, which is great for when it’s low on charge. I bought an electric mountain bike for my daughter. She's always wanted one to ride to the gym every day, so I was drawn to this bike because it can be used both as a regular bicycle and with electric assist. The assembly was fairly straightforward—it took some time, but as long as you use the right method and follow the instructions, it can be done in about 30 minutes, and you can start test riding. Pretty good! The handlebar can be folded, so it fits easily into the car trunk, making it convenient to take on trips. It's compact but has some weight to it, which is understandable given it's a 500W battery-powered bike. The position of the headlight is perfectly fixed, and its brightness is impressive—really bright at night. As for the speed, the control box has a “+” button for the light: long press to turn on, and long press again to turn off—simple and intuitive. It offers 3 speed levels, which are easy to control, making it very suitable for teenagers! My daughter loves it and rides it to the gym every day. It saves me the trouble of driving her back and forth, which not only frees up my time but also helps her make the most of hers. ... show more

Item defective. Piece of Chinese junk that can't hold 250 pounds. The handlebars keep coming off, the seat kept sliding down. As someone who goes to school for engineering I spent a good amount of time trying to fix it, and even that didn't work.
