I bought this because I was tired of waiting for hot water to arrive at the bathroom sink. By putting it inline with the hot water pipe I have instant hot water for a minute or so until hot water from the large water heater in the garage arrives. I like the LED display of the temperature, but I wish they provided a way to change the reading to fahrenheit.

Washing up in the morning and night could never get hot water. This 1.6 gallon tanked water heater solves my problem. It's very easy to install. It does NOT have pressure relief hole like it shows in their picture. But it comes with over pressure safety valve. Also it comes with 2 very long screws to support mounting bracket which I don't like. I made mounting brackets by myself.

We have a pool house that has a shower, no sink. The old small water heater rusted out long ago and we removed but never replaced it. I got this to hook up for that shower. We only use it when going into or out of the pool for a quick rinse-off, so don't need a lot of hot water for a long shower. It has not been installed yet, but after it is I will update my review. I have read up on it, and installation instructions, but will leave that to a plumber.

Energy efficient, safe features, compact design: This product is very energy efficient thanks to its auto adjusting flow/temp sensors that adjust the energy usage based on the water flow. The product also doesn't preheat at all, which other similar models sometimes do, preventing unused heating more effectively. The product's safety features also provide great peace of mind and it was able to successfully shut itself off when I tested out the dry-burning prevention, which is one of the bigger issues I was worried about with this type of product. The product's compact size also makes it very easy to find a spot for in a smaller corner. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

Do not buy this water heater! You will need special fittings that are not supplied by the seller. A standard water supply line will not work on this water heater as the fittings are a flat faced fitting. So do not waste your time and money.

Context: I wanted a space-saving instahot for a spot in my house where there isn't much room. This product lists pretentiously as a tankless water heater, which I suppose technically it is, but it's an instahot. Regardless of what they call it, it's what I needed, so I gave it a try. It's small, but it's accurate to the listing. It isn't meant to provide water to an entire home full of people. It will provide water to a kitchen sink, probably a double vanity in a master bath, something like that. It says endless hot water, but not on a half-inch line. This will not do a shower. I felt the need to take off one star for mis-marketing it to make people think this will do something it will not. However, what it is actually made for and what it's actually meant to do, it does well. It's a very nice unit. It's perfect for a bathroom sink or a kitchen sink. You can set the water temperature, and it has some nice (and standard) instahot safety features on it to keep from burning it out. It needs 220V and it needs its own dedicated circuit. The controls are simple, and once it's safely installed, it should be easy to use and last for a while. Whether you'll see an energy savings depends on way too many factors of your hot water usage and where you put this product, but it does heat on demand and typical of instahots, does not have a tank to keep reheating over and over. There is theoretically a cost savings possible. If your expectations and needs are in line with what this product actually does, then I have no problem recommending. It's a nice product and works as intended (if not precisely the way it is advertised).
