It does work, instant Hot water under the sink right to faucet 110volt plug plenty of water to do a bunch of dishes with the 8 gallon model. I have had this product for a couple of months now. It works exactly as expected. You can get the water very hot so be careful! I used teflon plumbing tape around the connections, have not seen any leaks. The pressure release valve is one way, and goes on the cold water inlet side!
