Works great one thing to remember is it needs to be close to sink facet to get instant hot water. I think the water filled tanks are better than tankless. I recommend water tank type.

    • It leaks at the pressure relief valve.

This works well. 120 is the max temp needed for a sink or shower. 140 degrees is the max temp you need if you are connecting to a dishwasher. This water heater gets the water hotter than that so make sure you do not turn it all the way up. It’s super light. Surprisingly so. It comes with a tee in case you want to hook it to two fixtures such as a sink and shower or a sink and dishwasher. BUT it only has two hoses, so you cannot use the tee unless you buy an additional hose. I also had to buy an adapter for mine but you may not have to. I would have rather paid a little more but received a third hose to hook to the tee. But here is the biggest issue - the pressure relief valve leaks. I tried the teflon tape that came with it. I tried teflon tape combined with Pipe Thread Sealant. I tried thicker, better teflon tape with the sealant. I cranked it all the way down until the valve housing bottomed out. Nothing would stop the leak. Finally I ordered an assortment of rubber gaskets for an extra $9 to get what was either an 18 mm or 20 mm gasket (sizes weren’t labeled so I can’t be sure which) that would work in the valve fitting. Success! With the extra hose, the fitting, and the rubber gaskets, I now have hot water at my kitchen sink and dishwasher. Despite the extra expense and days of trying new solutions I only took off 1 star, because it really is great once you get it working. And if you don’t need to hook it to two fixtures then you don’t need the extra hose and adapter. ... show more

Purchased about a week ago. Except for a couple of small leaks (which I quickly fixed with more tape) installation was straight forward and simple. Product works as advertised, HOWEVER, due to my own ignorance of the basic laws of thermodynamics, I was shocked that I can only get about half a gallon of really hot water before the incoming cold water cools the hot water down precipitously. If I had anticipated this I would have paid the extra $30 to get the 4 gallon model. The wattage is the same and takes up just a little larger area. With all that being said, the product works as advertised. I do not recommend this and would encourage you to purchase the larger model. Can I get a return? Probably not because it works.
