I had a few challenges getting just the right combination of fittings for my use case. Once installed, I was disappointed with the flow rate. It is just a trickle. It seems to be like the flow from a sink water filter.

I chose this water heater to install under the sink in our home that is the furthest away from our heating tank. Whenever we would turn on the hot water at this sink, it would literally take up to a minute for the hot water to arrive. Not anymore! After installing this water heater, which was a breeze to install, hot water is now instantaneous. This little thing is a work horse! Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price.

Total power output is 1500 watts and heats up pretty quick. You can easily adjust the temperature as to maybe keep kids from burning their self while using the water. Unit has cool sides so not to burn you if touched. It comes with a regular 120 volt style power cord that you plug into a regular wall outlet. So no electrician is needed for running heavy wire and adding breakers. Much easier to install vs the tankless water heater. I like the ease of adjusting water temperature. Well worth the money and very pleased with the operation.

I first ran the cold to the blue and red to the hot faucet as in the instructions. I ran out of the 2.6 gallons in just a short time. The unit cooled off quick and could not keep up. I then ran the hot to the blue intake. The red to the faucet. Problem solved. It took over two minutes to get hot water to our kitchen sink. By the time the 2.6 gallons are gone, my Rinnai tankless water heater kicks in.
