We are in constant need of electric fence material as we expand our pastures, so when I saw this spool of polywire on amazon, I decided to give it a try. I’ve never worked with polywire before, so I have nothing to compare this spool to, but I love how lightweight it is compared to the standard metal wire. Plus the bright colors will make it easier for the goats to see. This spool will be used in addition to t-posts and plastic/fiberglass posts as a sort of ‘temporary’ fence to keep our goats and pigs in a specific area to clear it. Because it is temporary, we don’t tension it or use wooden posts, and the goats stay in just fine— though admittedly, our electric fence box runs 100 miles at 7.1 joules, and packs quite the punch! I will try to update this review after the goats have been in it for a while!

Finally, peace of mind for my flock! This electric fence polywire is a game-changer! I was so tired of losing chickens to raccoons and other predators, but this fence has finally given me peace of mind. The 656 feet of polywire was more than enough to run two strands around my chicken coop and run, creating a secure barrier. The upgraded 200 meters of 9-strand stainless steel conductors make for incredibly reliable conductivity, which is essential for keeping those pesky critters out. The PVC-coated fiberglass rope is super easy to work with. It's much lighter and easier to put up than traditional wire, and it's UV and rust resistant, so it should last a long time. I'm thrilled with this fence! It's been a lifesaver for my chickens, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use electric fence.

Having had horses for almost thirty years, I have found that electric fence is the most effective way to control some horses. I have one mare who abused before I rescued her, that has broken through every poly line I have used over the years. Last year I installed a solar electric fencer that is amazing. Only one break through with it and now with the better wire I believe I will be able to contain this mare. Also I have used both white and yellow wires. I believe the yellow wire may be easier for the horses to see. From a distance, yellow is easier for me to see.

I use this to contain 2 cows and a donkey. It is yellow so they can see it well and it carries the charge with no faults. I will add it to a better spool once it is completely rolled out to make re-use easier.

Highly recommended! This style of electric fence rope is my go-to fencing when we need something light-weight and fast to set-up. It is plenty strong and has enough conductors to really carry a healthy shock. It is also very easy to use.

This is a must have for any farm or fence line keeping things out or in. The 6 strands are conductive and work great for long stretches. My fence line is about 3 miles long and this held the charge without issue as well as the rope line itself is very sturdy. I would defiantly order this again should i need to replace my existing lines. Overall its fairly priced and works as described. The one upside to this one is that it has 9 strands vs the typical 7. Overall it works just as well.
