posts are light duty be careful pushing in the ground we broke 2 right away. it is a little short for big goats a few jumped over the fence but in fairness they could probably jump over a 60" tall fence if they want too. a good note the fence didnt not get all tangled up when we moved it like other ones we used

To the ranch where I work raises pigs. Lately, some of them have been running through the 2 wire electric fence. This netted fence will solve that problem. The pigs won't be able to run through the fence, and the whole thing has electrified wire running through it. And at 35.4" high, t's too high to jump over. The fencing is tough plastic webbing and will stand up to weather. And 164' will make a good sized pen.

These types of fences can cost a lot, and this one doesn't. However, there are differences: you'll need additional items (purchases) to get it up and running; the poles aren't as heavy duty or as close together as the high end fences (1 pole per 12 feet isn't enough to keep the fence from sagging); mine arrived in a busted up box (common with Amazon nowadays) so some of the fencing was damaged upon arrival which makes me concerned about how well it will hold up. But if you're on a budget (like me) this one will get the job done with modifications. Regarding installation, it helps if the fencing line is mowed super low before installing because his keeps grass from shorting out the fencing. And you'll want as flat of a surface as possible. This fencing does NOT like slopes. Although it was fairly easy to install and setup, we have lots of fencing experience - electrical and otherwise. Regardless of what it says, it does work okay with full-sized chickens when using extra poles and also landscape stakes to attach the bottom row of fencing (non-electric) to the ground. This keeps them from poking their heads under and popping out the other side. The slight zap keeps them from poking their heads through the other sections. I'm excited about the value and hope it continues to work because the local bunnies chew right through regular poultry fencing or wildlife mesh, seemingly overnight. We'll see if this can deflect them and keep the chickens semi-safe. So far, so good! If you don't hear an update from me, you'll know it's a-okay for the long haul.

This is a very solid electrified netting fence and a great value for the money. At 42.5 inches tall, it gives you a little extra height compared with many similar options, which is especially useful for goats and other livestock. The overall construction feels good, and it works exactly as expected when paired with a properly sized energizer and good grounding. One thing I especially like is that the ends are finished properly, with the conductive strands neatly braided and secured. That makes the fence look more professionally made and also makes connecting additional sections much easier. Once set up and energized, it provides a strong, effective barrier and does a great job keeping animals contained. Overall, I’m very happy with this netting. It offers a lot of fence for the money, the extra height is useful, and the construction is nicely finished. I really don’t have any meaningful complaints. Pros - 42.5-inch height provides excellent coverage - Great value for the money - Works well for containing goats - Ends are neatly braided and properly finished - Easy to connect with additional fence sections - Solid overall construction - Performs exactly as expected Cons - No significant downsides found

In a last minute pinch we ordered this fence to protect our ducks while we were out of town. (Our other fence was destroyed) It arrived quickly and well packaged. Set up was simple. Poles felt sturdy and was much cheaper than our other electric net fence we have around our chickens. However, by day 3 the ducks had figured out that the bottom of the fence is not heavy and slipped under. No more ducks! A critter got them. ): This was not a user error. We had friends checking on the animals each day. The solar electric battery was tested and working well. The problem is the connection spot from the battery to the fence; there is too much interference with the fence material. The netting material also has little weight to it meaning the fence doesn’t lay completely on the ground then the posts are pushed in flush with the ground. This fence could have uses on the farm, but not without supervision and constant quality checks. Overall, we will stick with Premier 1 from this day forth. You pay for what you get…

This fence is made for using with an electric fence energizer. The quality of its design is fairly good - definitely more lightweight and inexpensive than the same amount of metal wire electric fencing, and much easier to set up. However, without electrifying it, there's much more risk of small animals (like rabbits, various rodents, etc) getting through it, or knocking it down as my dogs did. The posts have a plastic bace that can snap quite easily with the force of a dog running into a section of the fence. So if you don't intend on electrifying it, be aware that the plastic posts and the woven synthetic fiber used for the fence may not be enough on their own to keep animals out. Also, the gauge of wiring that is woven in with whatever type of synthetic/plastic material they used is very thin, and could be broken fairly easily, thereby breaking the electrical circuit. So overall, while this fencing is a good buy for the cost if you need a cheap, easy to install fence of this length, unless it's going to be energized, it may not be strong enough or have a fine enough mesh to keep animals from getting through it or pushing into it and knocking it down.
