Two units both with motor phase loss. First bike with less than 20 miles and the second with only about 100. Never abused and typically only run on level 1. Seller has been responsive in replacing the first defective bike. Waiting for refund on the second now because I do not trust the quality. My 10 year old son is disappointed. Really wanted to like this bike but not with the poor quality control.

First, I’d like to say that I have 2E bikes for my 14-year-old twin boys. The first one is the yozma and the second one is the Eco leap. We bought the yozma first, and we thought it was a fairly nice bike. Then we got the Eco leap and wow, what a difference that was. Technologically and design wise it’s heads and shoulders above the first bike. The Eco Leap has a better display and controls and has options to sit higher. Physically, they are basically the same size. But let me tell you that the Eco leap has much better, lighting, has rear brakes and rear signals, which the other one doesn’t. They are virtually the same price. The eco-leap has an app and also has a key card which you can program. The customer service for the eco leap was phenomenal. I got to text them directly in real time. I only had some minor issues that I had to deal with, and it was sorted out very quickly. Out of the two bikes, I would recommend the Eco leap. My son with the first bike, the Yoma is very jealous of my son that has the eco leap. Another nice feature of the Eco is that it has two settings for seat height. Something that the yozma does not have. It took me less than two hours to install it versus the YOZ. The YOZ handlebar did not come pre-assembled like the Eco did. Cut down on a lot of time. The headlights are 20 times brighter and larger than the YOZ. The gold Fork is really Anh eye Turner. Would like to buy another one if it came in an adult size for my for myself.

Throttle is sticky as he'll. It has no rebound. The charger got super hot while charging I had to unplug it before it burned. The app to control speed is only for Iphones no android. The bike lies about what speed it's going on the screen. My son weighs 100lbs and full Throttle on mode 1 it says he's doing 16 but I have to have my bike in mode 2 to keep up and it says he's doing 20.3 mph. UPDATE: the seller sent me a new throttle and a new charger. Throttle was easy to swap out. Have not used the new charger yet but hope it works as it should.

Purchased the bike for Christmas for my son. 2 month ago I received an error code. Amazon referred me to the company email address and I have not received a response after a month. Do not buy. Waste of $1197.89. The error code is motor phase loss. I also purchased the extra warranty but they cant do anything because its still under warranty with ECOLEAP but I have not heard anything. It's very frustrating. I will post picture of proof soon.
