The bike lock is ok. The cable is strong but the actual lock seems weak! The turn wheels are hard to rotate one at a time with large fingers. When I went to set a new code the 00000 was not the actual setting. It took me awhile to get it open. Make sure to rotate the dial at the end of the lock mechanism 90degrees or it will mess up. Durability of the cable is good and easy to install. Overall the lock works but not the best. ... show more

Adequate lock; feels secure and works as intended. I found it pretty easy to change the lock combination and was able to use it right away to keep my bikes tied together for security on a closed porch. I appreciate the mount that securely holds the lock on the bike. It's solid and durable, but not too heavy to add more significant weight to the ride. I'm not going to test what cutting it would be like but I found it to be sturdy and thick so I imagine it would not be easy to get through; I've been able to secure my bike to gates and poles just fine with no stress of theft. The cord is a bit long so it can be tied around multiple times, but I see that as a benefit since I can make more complicated loops throughout the bike instead of just looping one bar to hold it down. I've had friends that would wear their locks as belts while they ride and this one would definitely be long enough for that. It's black like my bike so they match seamlessly too. I think this is a great value for an effective lock, especially with the 5 digit feature which makes it harder to break into. ... show more

It’s missing parts and items when I was putting it together not all parts came with it and after putting what I have together I go and try to start the bike up and it won’t even turn on the worst experience and frustration I wouldn’t buy this bike again not worth the money and quality is cheap

This bike lock is great for everyday use. The lock has a 5-digit combination that you can set and the included instructions are clear and easy to follow. Also included with the bike lock is a bracket that mounts on the bike for onboard storage of the lock. This bike lock is robust and offers good security. The length of the cable is also adequate so that you can go around wheels and frame. The cable has a good thickness and the surface is smooth and non abrasive. Setting up the combination is easy. The four step instruction page included is clear and includes pictures for each step. The holding bracket for the lock seems a little flimsy but so far I have had no issues with it. The lock slides into bracket but is basically to transport it. This is a good basic bike lock at an affordable price and really good value at $6.99. I recommend it. ... show more
