Needed a new cooktop for the kitchen after replacing the countertops with granite. We went with the 36" model cooktop and it looks great an functions very well. Installation was very simple. The cooktop was well packed and it came with a cardboard cutout template and you simply trace the cutout onto your mounting surface, make the cut and drop in your cooktop. (you do need to screw in 4 tabs and connect the power before dropping in the cooktop). The cooktop fit perfectly in the cutout and powered on with no issues. Note that when you first power on the burners they start at half power (5) you need to press the + up to 9 for full power or - for less power. Use flat bottom pans as they will heat better on this glass cooktop. Cleaning with a degreaser formula followed up with glass cleaner gave the best cleaning results. Been using the cooktop for a week now and I'm very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I bought the Thermomate cook top back in December of 2024. I did not install it until March 21, 2025. After completing the installation, upon checking each cook spot, I discovered there are broken pieces inside the stove, sitting on top the of the heating element. As a precaution. I uninstalled it from the countertop and contacted Thermomate's Customer Support. The support team has responded promptly to get the issue identified and the unit replaced. I used Thermomate cooktop in the past. It's features (touch control, timer for each stove...) and quality are great. The five stars go to the Customer Support team. ... show more

Works very well, I love glass tops, because I’m a pig, when I cook. It’s very easy for me, too clean. The thing is, Just always remember, it is glass, so I don’t know what kind of a smack, it can take before it breaks.

I am very disappointed. I got a Stove Top and bath insurance for it and it does not work. I was I’ve been waiting for the replacement because the first replacement that you guys sent was defected. It does not turn on. I’ve been trying to contact you and you guys have not responded I’ve been without us For two months already and I’m been trying to send you emails and emails and still haven’t gotten no response. Came in on time and packaging was perfectly packed! Took it out of the box to be surprised that the cut out template was in the box to make it easy for installation if one hasn't had the countertop cut out yet. No cracks No scratches! Wires it in and everything works as its supposed to! Only thing I recommend is if you have a 30 amp breaker to upgrade it to a 40 amp. Takes a little more power when using double burner and a single burner. But other than that HIGHLY RECOMMENDED especially for the price! ... show more

    • Absolutely fantastic for the cheapest 36" cook top on the planet
It turned right on and works great. It has individually timed elements to turn off when the time is up. Gets hot quick. Boils water as good or better than the POS whirlpool I had before this. IDK about longevity. I don't see why it would fail any time soon. Only gripe I have it the touch stuff. It's a little tedious, but once you get used to it, it's fine. The instructions clearly state that when the two biggest elements are on at the same time, it alternates between them to avoid overloading the unit. Read the instructions people! Overall, fricking great for the money. I should have enough saved to buy the Viking by the time this one dies. ... show more

Really love most everything about range top, except how easily it scratches up. I've used less than 2 months and it already look dingy and scuffed. Have been using glass top cleaner, even Mr. Clean erase pads and it just looks awful. I'm a canner and when water splatter, it is enough to turn top off. ... show more
