The stove is easy to install. Had to hire an electrician. He got it in but had to spice wires with our older stove to use it with our current box. The stove looks really nice and modern. It is a bit hard to get cooked on stuff off of it but that happens on a rare occasion. Pans can slide when it is wet with drips if you aren't careful. Everything is spaced out nice on it even for larger pans and I used the center mostly but was able to easily get many pans on it while cooking for Thanksgiving. One downfall, the stove is a bit hard to clean completely. I usually let it soak a bit with spray. One other issue is that the stove takes a little bit longer to heat up. I have to turn it to 9 and then that is the highest setting so I have to wait for it to heat up then turn it down a bit. It takes longer than my old coil stovetop. As far as looks go, it's sleek and ultra modern. It looks stylish and I was so happy to get rid of the previous knobs so I can set things flat on it. I do like the lock function. It makes it hard to press buttons when you are setting things on top like groceries. It does allow me to use the space like a counter top when I am not cooking. That lock will come in good for small children. However a password would be good so if they are smart enough to press that unlock button it would be easy to turn on. Over all I would give it an 8 stars for beauty, function, and durability. I wish it would heat a bit faster but otherwise it's a good stove top if you are looking for a modern look. I have had zero problems with the electrical components or burners so far.

I love my new stovetop, the 5 burner option is great. Never had a glass top before and clean up is much easier. Also as this stove top was slimmer than our previous one we were able to install 2 drawers under it. One of the burners did quit working but the company backed up their product by sending a new replacement. The support staff was great and worked with us to get the replacement and return the one with the bad burner all within a very short time. Based on our experience I would recommend this company and product.

Although this was not our first choice within the Thermomate family of cooktops we couldn't be more pleased with the selection. We purchased a five burner induction model that experienced a control panel issue which required us to choose another model. The customer service assistant that worked with us was extremely prompt and courteous in dealing with the replacement model and we would not hesitate to purchase another Thermomate In the future.

We have enjoyed this new cook top in our home. All the features that we need are included. We haven't tried the timed cook feature and not sure why we would use this for a cook top. The lock engage button is located just below the on/off button and is way too easy to select. While it is easy to unlock, it is annoying. Having 5 burners is nice though we haven't needed to use all five at once.

This is our second one. The first went bad. We were given it as a gift with no gift receipt. We’ve tried our best to find it but with no luck. We love the cooktop so now we have a receipt. Wish us luck

No issues installing it. Worked as intended, I do wish the locking system was a bit better. when you lock the system it says LO and everyone thinks that means low heating. But when you turn it off and the surface is still hot it says H. Heats up real quick. I do like the burner identification icons; looks like a planetary alignment puzzle.

Although the idea of a touch panel was initially appealing to me, not it is quiet irritating. Whenever I clean it or it gets wet it beeps constantly. If it’s off, it will come on when cleaning. Sometimes the temp settings get stuck and won’t move over 5. It was the same measurement of my previous cooktop but it did not fit down in the opening due to some of the screws on the sides of it. There is about 1/2 inch space from the cooktop and my counter and there is about a 1 inch gap from the back and the countertop. All I all I prefer my previous cooktop and plan on purchasing another one soon.
