Purchased this ebike after much review and research. As my first e bike, after having mountain bikes and road bikes, this was a pleasant surprise. It was easy to assemble, the addition of the throttle is also a huge plus! No complaints. In the two/ three weeks I have had it, I have ridden about 135 miles. Each ride is about 16 to 20 miles and the charge holds up very well. I am 6'2" and weigh about 245 lbs. I have never let the battery totally drain and charge after most every ride. Several days ago after a ride, it needed a charge. When I connected the charger to the battery, i noticed a bright spark coming from the battery and the charger as well as a burning smell. Not sure why, but I noticed the battery would now not charge. I reached out to the seller and after several attempts to determine exactly why (a few videos to show them what I was doing) They sent me not only a new charger, but a new battery! I just received the battery today! I now have a new battery and can now resume riding again! I would highly recommend this ebike and this seller to anyone considering an ebike! I have used the bike for 6 weeks now and I will start with my dislikes, I was very unhappy with how FedEx fulfilled their delivery (so not the company's fault). The thing I am the most happy about is the customer support in how quick and helpful they have been with all my questions and how willing they have been to listen to any suggestions I have had. The only time they did not answer as quickly was on Christmas Day. One example is that I know that I would end up getting flat tires because of how the roads are around here so the company created a video showing the steps of how to take the bike wheel off (need an 18mm wrench), but it turns out that you can repair the inner tube without having to take the wheel off. I just passed 1000 miles yesterday (see picture). I do not know how long after the purchase or how many times I can write or update the review so that Is why I am writing today. All the biking I do is in peddle assistant mode and most of the time I bike over 20 miles each time I am using the bike I have found it hard to reach max possible speed as I have not gotten past (able to bike faster than) 31 mph and I do not know why I did not think of it but as the power is used up the max speed drops so after about 40-45 minutes it has dropped a little (1-2 mph). Almost all the biking I do is no flat ground with the biggest hill/incline being the bridge over another road. It is also fairly windy around here which could explain why it is difficult to reach max speed (and I do not use the throttle, just peddle assistance). Make sure regular maintenance is done as I needed to tighten the bolts for the kickstand after about 1 month. Summary: So far I have not had any problems and customer support has answered all my questions quickly. ... show more

As others have written, I did a fair amount of research for my first ebike and this one had good reviews and all the features I was looking for. It came neatly packed and mostly assembled, and putting the rest together was easy (just watch the video first). I am 6'5" and was a little skeptical about the frame size, but it is fine. It has good speed when you want to use the pedal assist and easy to use as a regular bike when you don't. I think it looks nice, feels sturdy and is a very smooth ride. I've only used it a couple times, so if my opinion changes, I will update this review, but so far I highly recommend. ... show more

The bike seems well built. Except for the rear tire not being properly seated causing a bouncy ride as if the wheel was bent. Also the quality of the tires aren’t good. So I will need to buy some new tires. The speedometer says 41mph checked with a GPS it only says 28mph. Aside from that the seat is comfy and I weigh 220lbs. Just wish it came with better tires. Hi, I bought new Edikani electric bike and received wrong battery. Contacted seller - he never helped and offered $20 refund. As this is third party bike hence had to send back bike yo seller to get full refund with signature delivery. Seller knows after sales hassles and he harasses customer with return policies. Recommends don’t buy from Edikani as they sell low quality bikes , worst after sale customer service and warranty issues. Also Edikani bikes are more costly as compared to other products in market. Don’t waste your money buying Edikani bikes - you are at risk when you looking at their listing. ... show more

    • Does NOT Do 34mph
Its a decent bike for $899 The bike frame seems like good quality, the gears are a little cheap and do not seem to ever work the way they are suppose to . I just found a happy medium on what gear works best for peddal assist up hills and just leave it in that gear since you dont really need the gears anyway since its a electric bicycle. It does NOT do 34mph like it says it does. I got it up to 29 mph on flat road. It rides pretty smooth and the headlight is very bright . I dont like that it doesnt have a brake light, the phone holder is nice, along with the screen display . Brakes are good but needed adjustment. Not hard to put together but you should be a little bit mechanically inclind if you are the one putting it together . I like that it has a electric horn. Shipping wasnt bad , about 5 days from westcoast USA to eastcoast USA. Im not a big fan of the thumb throttle , seems pretty cheap. I rather have a regular small throttle built into the handle grips like other electric bikes have. Overall im happy with the bike. ... show more
