These dishes are beautiful! They have a nice, substantial weight to them, which I really prefer, and they feel much sturdier and more elevated than my previous ceramic set. The shape and functionality are excellent. The round plates have slightly raised edges that help keep food in place, the bowls are deep enough without feeling bulky, and the shallower salad bowls work perfectly for pasta, snacks, or smaller meals. Everything stacks neatly in my cabinet and fits comfortably without taking up too much space. They are fully dishwasher safe, and after several washes they still look great. They have also held up very well with daily use and feel genuinely durable. With two sizes of plates, two types of bowls, and an overall look and quality that feels more expensive than it actually is, I am extremely pleased with this purchase. I absolutely love these dishes. I live in the country and have a country style home. I purchased 2 sets of the Elama Gia 24 Piece stoneware dinnerware set in the color cream. These dishes go beautiful with my decor. They stack well in the cabinet. Clean easily by hand and come through the dishwasher sparkling. They are a nice weight but not heavy. I wasn’t sure if I would use the 38 ounce salad bowl but we use that for our salads as well as pastas, rice dishes, and for many of our dinners. We feel it’s a very versatile plate. The dinner plate is a great size, with a bit of a lip around the edge to keep dinner on the plate. The soup bowls are quite deep and are easy to hold in one hand. And the dessert plate is the perfect size for dessert or as a bread plate. It looks absolutely beautiful on the table. My only complaint is one of the plates came with two little divots in the edge of the plate. Obviously a flaw when the edge was painted. However, it does drives me crazy when I look in the cabinet and see these beautiful new plates with one having a flaw. I’ve highlighted that in the last picture, 2nd plate down on the left. Other than that, these would be a beautiful wedding gift or a gift for someone moving into their first apartment or perhaps your mom or grandmother that has mismatched dishes in their cabinet. ... show more

I just received these. The set was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. The glaze is beautiful and shiny, and the dishes feel heavy/good quality. There is some variation in the pattern/glazing among the pieces that I find adds to the appeal, but you should know that every piece doesn't match perfectly if that's your thing. This set is impressive! Great quality for the price and I love the 2 different sized bowls. The cream color is just what I was looking for. You can't go wrong in my opinion - and NO COFFEE MUGS I'LL NEVER USE.
