I bought this to connect my HT in my Jeep to an external antenna for better range. This cable was used with an inexpensive NMO antenna and my SWR is still 1.05:1. No need to spend that extra cash in my experience.

These were good for a while The mno Threads are constantly incorrect manufactured wrong I highly suggest not to buy these Spend a couple extra dollars to get them right a 100% from someone else These are cheap and not reliable

    • Fit my antenna perfectly and I can hear very nicely on my PPC
The guy I got my Powered Parachute from cut the antenna wire very short and it never picked up quite right so I ordered this and relocated the antenna. I just had the machine on the ground and it worked flawlessly. I'll find out more when I go flying next time but just from the initial install it worked great! ... show more

    • Thread spacing is wrong.
The outer threads on the NMO mount itself are the wrong spacing and it's almost impossible to thread an antenna onto it.

I've bought a total of 5 of these NMO to BNC cables over the years for different vehicles, and I'm about to buy 4 more for another project. They simply just work great.     • Wrong thread pitch?
Maybe it's just me but I think the thread pitch on this NMO connector is wrong. I tried with several antennae and none of them would thread on more than about a quarter-turn. Is there some metric NMO thread that I'm not aware of? C-NMO (Chinese NMO)??? I don't know... Other than being useless to me due to not being able to actually thread on an antenna, it seems reasonably well made. ... show more
