We originally got this to film interviews for a church and it's the perfect set up along with a good phone camera and some bluetooth mics. You'll need an extension chord if you want to film further than two feet from a wall. I keep one specially for it and store them together. Be sure to experiment with the lighting settings to make sure you find the most flattering one for all of your videos, I tend to lean towards the warmer/brighter tones but everyone is different. I do find the remote control a little difficult to use sometimes. It often doesn't read the signal unless you're pointing it directly at the phone and press it for longer than you think, so just keep an eye on that. It's a super handy feature!

This LED ring light is great. I bought this for my mom and I don't regret it at all. It was easy to use and set up for someone who is not tech savvy. The media could not be loaded. The instructions explain that the cell phone holder should be attached to the top of the ring light by a 1/4 inch screw, there is no screw on the area of the ring light that you need to attach the phone! We figured it out that the phone holder can be slid into a slot on the rind light to secure the phone. Very frustrating, please correct your instructions!!!

Very sturdy tripod and phone mount. The Bluetooth features and remote control are very easy to use and super convenient! The settings between white, yellow, and natural light are very nice and there is a huge difference between the dimmest and brightest settings. VERY bright at its highest setting.
