Assembly was straightforward following included instructions, and all tools needed are included in the box. Best of all, my cat absolutely loves this scratcher -- she uses the top, mostly. I like that it can be turned upside down when the top wears out eventually so that it will effectively last twice as long. My cats LOVE this. This is my second time purchasing the product. My first one lasted over 6 months and I only bought a new one since I was moving. Great for play and scratching. Super easy to assemble.

Easy enough to put together. Very light so if it's placed on laminate floor etc., and they get the zoomies, it will slide quite a bit. I thought getting cheap silicone trivets or rug padding to put under it but she never used it for her claws. I tried everything...catnip, treats inside \ on top, playing with cat dancer toys on and around it...she just won't use the cardboard scratchers. Luckily, my local humane society takes everything. If your cat likes the cardboard scratchers, this will work (be aware of the sliding issue). It Does make a fun complex environment to play in/around if it's wedged tight. my cat loves this! it's sturdy so she can't knock it over, while maintaining some sort of pleasant aesthetic that doesn't scream cat mom automatically. she loves to scratch it and hide in it and most of all sit on top of it, which is a testament to its strength and stability bc my girl could lose some lbs (shhhh) don't tell her I said that. great price too! ... show more

I actually got this for my bunny since it doesn’t include catnip like a lot of other scratchers do. The size works well and it doubles as both a hideout and something to chew/scratch on. Assembly was straightforward, though the plastic “screws” basically just screw directly into the cardboard itself instead of locking into a more dedicated slot. It still holds together fine, but doesn’t feel super premium in that area. Despite that, my bunny likes it a lot and uses it pretty regularly. Overall, it’s a cute little hideout/scratcher and works well for small pets. I just wish I can buy a set of corrugated cardboard to replace it once my bunny goes through it instead of buying a whole new set. ... show more
