I bought this for the case. It came from the scratch and dent section of Amazon and cost $13. I can put my Albrect Durer Watercolor pencils in it and travel around the area instead of brining my whole pencil case of all 120 of them. I knew I may be able to claim some of the supplies in it. I was stunned how good the supplies are. The only thing I didn't like was the watercolor pencils because Obviously, I'm ussed to way better. I didn't like the ones in this kit at all. The sketch pencils were awesome, I tried them first and verified I can completely erase them and they each show a different lead darkness so it is an actual sketch kit worth using.It's hard lead. The metallic pencils were way better than expencted and layed down very well, I'm keeping them, and the oil pencils were again really good and layed down very well. The waterbrush is fine and I can always use more of them. The Blending stumps are fine. I didn't try the sand paper, metal pencil sharpener or pencil extender but all look like the normal ones you get in higher end kits so I'm guessing they are fine. I only looked at their paint brush then used my own for the watercolor which is the only thing I really didn't like in the kit., The rest gets put aside as it's fine. I didn't try the charcoal or the eraser that came with this kit. I used my own. I got it on sale so it was worth every penny. For $24 you can get this generalist kit or pick one supply in this set, and look for it and get a much higher end supply. Your call, but for general amatures who want to just sketch and progress, this is fine and a good price if you pay full price. Honerable metion for the paper - far more than I expected in the sketch tablet. I'm keeping it.

Got this for my Grandson for Xmas. He loves drawing and copying pictures especially cartoon figures. It has a large assortment of colored pencils and even some charcoal ones. He loves it and I'm sure he'll use every single color in the set!
