I’ve had this EGOHOME 12" hybrid on my queen bed for about 3 weeks now, and honestly it’s been one of those “small upgrade, big payoff” purchases. I was replacing an old saggy mattress and wanted something that wouldn’t run hot, wouldn’t make my partner’s side bounce every time I turned over, and would still feel a bit cushy for my sensitive shoulders, this one checked all those boxes. Out of the box it unrolled pretty quickly and smelled minimal compared to other foam mattresses I’ve tried. The top layer has a gentle contour, you do feel the memory-foam hug at first, but the pocket coils underneath bring the mattress back up so it never feels like you’re trapped in quicksand. I sleep mostly on my side and my lower back was a little achy the first two nights as my body adjusted, but after about a week my hips and shoulders stopped bothering me and I actually wake up feeling looser than before. All in all, for the price point and what it delivers - solid medium support, nice pressure relief, good motion isolation, and better temperature control than basic foams - I’d recommend it. It gave my back the extra alignment it needed without feeling like I was sleeping on a box spring, and nightly comfort improved within the first week. Worth trying if you want a comfortable, balanced hybrid without spending a fortune.
