It took more than the 3 minutes it’s advertised as taking out of box to setting it up. Try a few hours at least to get it to not be compressed. However once it’s how it should be it’s so comfortable. We’ve purchased a few different sizes of this topper for other beds in the house. This one will be used to cut to size for a pack and play for a toddler as she won’t sleep on just the mat that comes with. We also need the other part for a dog bed I want to make more comfortable for our girl… With that said these toppers hold up so well! I wouldn’t use it for the dog bed if I didn’t believe it’d last with the dog laying on it (it’ll be placed inside her bed under the fabric). We’ve used one for 3 years on our queen size bed. It’s so comfortable and I went from being unable to sleep or waking up in so much pain to having virtually no pain at all-even during pregnancy! I’m pregnant with another (2nd pregnancy while having the topper) and I can’t complain! Without it I’d be so uncomfortable. I do not find it to be cooling at all. If anything it makes the bed warmer! We use a mattress protector that’s fabric so doesn’t make noise at all and that helps to make the topper not make us too hot…on top of a sheet iver both topper and bed protector…I don’t recommend not using a mattress protector and sheet with these toppers. It does have a smell to it upon opening. It’s mild and anything will smell. It’s a material that will especially after how it’s packaged. I let it air out a day or two and it’s lost that smell. It was mild but def needed to air out. We do plan to buy another for my teens bed after the holidays. The price is good but I wish they were cheaper. I got this last one during the Black Friday sales and they should just leave them at that price point. They aren’t worth what they want for them. I think all of them are over priced for what you get but it’s what it is this day and age and because people will pay for it they can sell for what they do…this companies is a much better price iver others for what you get however. Highly recommend using this brand-go for the 3 inch or more over just a 2 inch you’ll thank yourself for doing that splurge!

After opening it took a few hours to regulate and puff up to the 3 inches, I left it in a room with an open window so there was no chemical scent left put it on my bed and I cannot say how much it relieved my back aches. , I am familiar with the mlily pillows so I knew I could depend on the product to be dependable and comfortable.
