As an athlete who has dealt with low back and sciatica pain in the past, I am always looking for ways to reduce the pain and inflammation in my lower back as I strive to continue to stay as active as possible. I have had 2 knee surgeries in the past and my knee issues have stemmed to my lower back per usual. After several days of using this pillow I can already notice a difference. Placing this below my lower back when I sleep feels as if it is reducing unnecessary stress and pressure on my back. It is soft and gives me added support. I always wake up with a bit of stiffness in my back and I can already notice this has slowly improved over the last couple of mornings. I've been using it two ways, one is having it on the bed while laying on my back. I've woke with no discomfort, where before I would wake and my back would be sore. The second way I've been using it, is when I'm sitting on the couch or desk chair. I've been placing it and using it as lumbar support in the seat. Both have proved to be a great help to my back. I hurt my back years ago and this pillow makes me feel better. It doesn't fix the problem, but it does help me to relax and get some relief.
