Yes, the EF ECOFLOW DELTA Pro can be charged using solar panels. It is designed to be a versatile solar generator for home use, making it ideal for sustainable energy consumption and off-grid living. The solar charging capability allows for an eco-friendly way to charge the power station.

The EF ECOFLOW DELTA Pro, with a 3600W AC output, can power a wide range of household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and power tools. This item is great to have in the house. Compared to a gas generator that could cause someone to get sick they always has to stay outside. The original cost is high. better to get it on a lower price well worth it it is very heavy heavy but it does have a handle at the bottom. Alot of hook ups on front side a d back. And you can charge it up in a house current. Last full charge for 15 days. Excellent item to have and you can. My two to hook up together for twice the a.ount of days and buy solor panels to use with it ... show more

  • Reliable Backup Power Without the Hassle
Style: DELTA Pro
I live in an area that experiences at least one extended power outage (lasting hours to days) each year. While I own a 3500-watt generator, it comes with limitations: it’s noisy, can’t be left unattended, and isn’t safe to run while sleeping. The EcoFlow portable power station has solved all of those issues—and more. Thanks to its pass-through mode, I can plug critical appliances (refrigerator, chest freezer, coffee maker) into the EcoFlow and then plug the unit into the wall. Under normal conditions, everything runs on house power. When the grid goes down, the unit automatically switches to battery backup. When power returns, it recharges itself and resumes pass-through—no monitoring required. I added two extra batteries and ran a full test. For two days, I powered all my food-handling appliances solely from battery: two refrigerators, a small chest freezer, a Keurig, an induction cooktop, and an air fryer. If I used my generator to re-charge the batteries for a few hours daily, I could comfortably run my entire kitchen, some lights, a laptop, and charge phones for an extended period. I’m genuinely impressed by how much energy this unit stores and how seamlessly it performs. If you need reliable backup power or a quiet, portable solution for camping or emergencies, I highly recommend EcoFlow. ... show more

  • Best portable solar electric generator on the market.
Style: DELTA Pro
Hands down, the best out there. I've had this electric generator for 5 months now and have wheeled it to camping and star gazing. What a fantastic device. I can power 3 mosquito traps, 3 telescopes, a electric water pot for coco and still have capacity for music or charging phones. The app is a 8/10 and my only complaint is that nothing allows you to trend input/output so you can't keep an eye on your metrics. 100% support this product, will buy again. ... show more

  • No 800 number to call
Style: DELTA Pro+Bag
Only 1 wk experience, but the unit is working fine. From a short (30min) test w/ 1.7 kW load, it has full rated capacity of 3.6 kWh. Didn't expect it makes a fair amt of noise from fan during uses...it's ok in garage, but can't be in bedrms. Flexible way to charge...can add solar panels easily. Biggest surprise in today's marketplace...no 800 number to call. You need to email support. Got a reply saying answer will be coming in a few DAYS. (I was unaware that my powerline was defective and tried to ask why it's not charging. After some tinkering, I found the problem and the unit charged ok.) Follow-up support has been prompt, so the lack of 800 number wasn't such a problem after all. Another surprise was the need to do "State of Charge Calibration" (SOC), which is not in the manual. This may to tough to understand for non-engineers, so a better write-up should be provided. Despite these issues, it seems to be well built and I am hoping it will prepare us for power outages (becoming too often these days and for eventual post-EQ days). ... show more

  • BUYER BEWARE - UPDATE
Style: DELTA Pro
The media could not be loaded. After finally having a chance to use this for powering my travel trailer, I am VERY disappointed in its operation. Plugging in to the 30 amp connection and powering on the 15k air conditioner and turning on a handful of various devices, after 10 minutes or so, the device shuts down with a 110 error code. It resets after 20-30 seconds and powers back on. It happens again after a similar time (I'm not running hair dryers, just usual electric devices used in every day life.). Now, every time, the air conditioner compressor has been 'on' after the obligatory initial time delay, so it's not the compressor kicking on that's tripping it. Cool air has been flowing from the vents. The AC is on AUTOMATIC, so it would have cycled off and the fan would shut down before turning back on. I had me Ecoflow app open and noticed it was putting out appx 1800 watts when it resets. I contacted Ecoflow customer service and opened a trouble ticket. The customer service representative assured me the unit would be replaced once I provided some information to verify the productto be defective. They asked what firmware was installed. I had updated the firmware already, hoping this would clear up the issue before needing to call tech support. They said to try a hard reset on the unit and gave me instructions on how to do this. I did so but the problem persisted. The next day I get an email from the technician Eric: " Thank you for reaching out. It seems that the surge power required by your air conditioner might be too high. We recommend adding a soft starter to manage the power surge effectively.". Obviously, this person never read the description I painstakingly provided to the agent. I emailed Eric that my air conditioner ALREADY had an Easy Start. The next day, Eric emailed me requesting a video showing the unit failing and to use some different devices to see if the unit would fail. I did so and sent it in, along with screenshot of the power input/output. I have a smaller secondary AC (620 watts), which I used instead of the main AC. I needed additional devices running to get to the so I plugged in a counter top oven and turned on the microwave. Took pictures and movies showing it failing again. Again, a day later I get an email saying:"Delta Pro is limited to 3600W. Your appliances has exceeded this limit, which triggers an overload. It's important to note that the Delta Pro can operate for 4-5 minutes because the power demand is gradually increasing, but it will go into overload once the 3600W threshold is surpassed.". One problem, I have an additional Ecoflow battery, which gives me 7200W of avaliable capacity. ". So, I setup ANOTHER test, keeping total watts limited under all their described limits. I take another video and screen captures and send it in. A DAY LATER, I receive this from Eric:"We are sorry about the issue you encountered. Thank you for reaching out. The output power on the left is limited to 2400W. We recommend trying the output interface on the right. If the connector is not suitable, you may need to purchase a compatible adapter connector from a third-party supplier.". Yes, the screenshot shows 2800watts input, BUT IT'S TOTAL INPUT. I have 1200watts of solar, and at that time, it was producing nearly 700watts, which brings the AC input to 2100watts, below their requested threshold. I get the distinct impression Ecoflow is trying REAL HARD, to renig on the warranty for this device. Update - I realized the technician thought I was plugging into the 15amp 110v plug on the left, but if you look at the photos and videos you can clearly see I am using the 30 amp 'RV' plug on the right. After multiple emails and phone calls to the 800 support line, they have finally come to the conclusion the unit is defective. Unfortunately for me, it took so long to get Ecoflow to agree it was bad, it was outside the 30day new replacement period. They will send a refurbished unit ... ... show more

  • LOVE IT! Charged up fast, holds charge and works when I needed.
Style: DELTA Pro
Already had an outage and it saved me from losing a fridge full of groceries. Easily backed up and ran a full sized fridge freezer, powered table lamp (with led bulb) charged 2 phones, powered a 4 cam security system and a 25 watt soundbar to listen to music during an 8 hour outage and still had 84% power. Could have ran a lot more, did what I needed, charged it up and ready to go. Going to add a 400w solar panel to get free power, love it! ... show more
