Frequently asked questions

The EF ECOFLOW DELTA Pro 3600Wh Power Station has a maximum power capacity of 3600Wh. This high capacity makes it suitable for home backup, emergency use, or powering appliances and tools in RVs.

Yes, the EF ECOFLOW DELTA Pro can be charged using solar panels. It is designed to be a versatile solar generator for home use, making it ideal for sustainable energy consumption and off-grid living. The solar charging capability allows for an eco-friendly way to charge the power station.

The EF ECOFLOW DELTA Pro, with a 3600W AC output, can power a wide range of household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and power tools. The duration for which it can power these appliances depends on their power consumption. For example, it could run a fridge for around 40-50 hours, but this duration will be significantly less for high-consumption devices like air conditioners.

The transfer switch kit included with the EF ECOFLOW DELTA Pro is designed for easy installation, allowing homeowners to safely connect the power station to their home circuit. It enables a seamless transition between grid power and the power station during outages, ensuring that critical appliances keep running without interruption.

  • EF ECOFLOW 120V Home Backup Kit: DELTA Pro 3600Wh Power Station
Style: DELTA Pro+Transfer Switch
So far so good, really like the battery, where I live power goes out a lot, some scheduled maintenance days by power company. So I bought to run refrigerator when power goes out. Plugged in charged to 85%, ran drop cord to refrigerator and keep the battery plugged in all the time, I’m basically using as EPS. Lot of times I’m not home when the power goes out so the battery kicks in when needed and when the refrigerator is plugged into the battery and their is AC power it by passes the battery and automatically switches on when the AC is removed. I’m thinking of buying the extra battery to double amount of time can run refrigerator. I do have an inverter type LG that uses way less than 200Watts when running, I expect it to run almost two days on the battery. I didn’t install solar panel due to location but will setup so can use car charging option thru solar connectors and purchase a small dual fuel generator to charge the battery in emergencies via LPG gas. ... show more

  • Good peace of mind for stormy weather
Style: DELTA Pro+Transfer Switch
We got the Ecoflow Delta Pro with transfer switch to run our furnace, fridge/freezers, sump pump and basement sink pump (where furnace condensate pump drains) overnight when the power is out due to storms. We had an electrician install the transfer switch not too long after receiving the unit. While we have not had an outage since we got it (not that I mind!), we have tested it out and it will be more than enough to allow us to peacefully sleep overnight. Except in situations when the furnace is going nearly constantly, we expect that this unit will run about a day with what we have on it. Before, we had to juggle sleep times to make sure that the fridge didn’t warm up and/or the house get too cold. Plus there was having to deal with an outside generator and the power cables going into the house in the cold and dark to boot. We used to use space heaters, which don’t quite do enough for the northern US in the winter, especially if you are out for a few days. The transfer switch is invaluable as we also can use it to plug in the generators to run the circuits attached (the furnace!!!) while recharging the Delta pro. A few things to note: 1) The Delta Pro’s instructions recommend a 45 day power discharge-charge cycle to help maintain the battery. We’ve just added it to our home maintenance routine and use the transfer switch for the discharge part of the power cycle. It works great and also gives us an idea how long it will work when we need it. I’m actually running a testing cycle as I’m writing a review in on a cold, snowy day. I don’t think that I could be more pleased with this setup (working as planned)! 2) We have done nothing with the bluetooth/wifi interface. We’re just using it as a backup battery that we manually connect to the transfer switch and it has been doing that so far out of the box without modifying the settings. If that’s important to you, I think other reviewers commented on that. 3) The transfer switch when we got the kit is a manual transfer switch that has 6 circuits with 120v as it comes with a single Delta Pro. You operate it fully manually, and that’s what we wanted. It is NOT a standby that kicks on if the power goes out (I think that you would need a smart panel for that). If you need 240v (for central AC?), keep that in mind as you may want a different transfer switch and should get the Delta Pro 3 or two Delta Pros with the double voltage hub. Any electrician should be able to get an appropriate transfer switch locally if you need to go that route. ... show more

Style: DELTA Pro+Transfer Switch
Well made and does the job. Had an issue with the first generator and Eco Flow made it right and shipped a brand new unit to me! Awesome customer service! This comes with the aux box and makes hook up fairly easy. Have it powering my fridge, freezer and water system. 3 solar panels producing 800 watts to keep this charged up! No noise, no fumes, no gas! Just using the sun and love it! No, it won't power your home air or everything in your home, just the most important ones you decide to use! ... show more

  • Please read this or you will be sorry if you already own solar panels
Style: DELTA Pro+Transfer Switch
This needs to be less stars but that’s not allowed. What you need to know: This is not a solar backup battery, this is a battery generator. All the pictures on the description of it connecting to existing PV panels is false advertising. These attach like any standard gas generator with an interlock or with a sub panel. Because of the onboard inverter in the ECOFLOW device this will not communicate with ANY PV solar inverter. Thus it cannot work to back up a home system. Eco flow falsely advertises this hooking to a PV system and being “charged by solar”. It cannot! It can solar charge, but only with Ecoflow panels that are place on the ground, temporarily. Not a permanent solution. What’s worse is these things are about 150 lbs and when trying to send them back ECOFLOWS customer service is horrible. They will send a return label but refuse to schedule a pickup making it your expense to get your money back where do you take 400lbs of batteries and generator to be dropped off. No where in my area because the place refuse to accept them. Clearly ECOFLOW spends all its money on engineers because what these are actually designed for they are nice items. Advertising and customer service however is horrible. Just buy and EG4 battery an hook up your solar with a reputable company. For a RV or camp trip, buy the dual fuel generator or solar panels and it will be fine, it would get a smaller one because it is heavy as sin. This is not for home use other than to run an extension cord to a fridge or fireplace blower. The one star here is for AMAZON (will be 5 if this gets resolved) they have worked with me through this process and are working to make it right. Not sure what will happen yet but they are saying all the right things. ... show more
