I have had a Line 6 BackTrack Digital Recorder for about 15 years. I use it to record all my band rehearsals and to capture my bass playing on live gigs. For some unknown reason, it stopped working without warning about two weeks ago. I am a retired electronics tech, so I figured I had nothing to lose by taking it apart. It was more complex inside than I thought, but one thing was clear - the battery did not look to be in good shape, and certainly was dead and wouldn't recharge. That led to one of two possibilities - either the charging circuit had become defective or the battery itself was no good. Without any information on the circuitry, I was left with only one option, to replace the battery and see what happened then. I went on Amazon and found a battery (this one) which had the same voltage rating and almost the same physical size. I removed the old battery and cut and spliced the wires from the circuit board to the new battery, and put the unit back together. As soon as I plugged it into the charger, the led light changed color to indicate the battery was charging. In about two hours, the battery had charged up and I tried it. The BackTrack had come back to life. These devices had not been made for years, and the ones I could find used were more expensive than what I paid for mine when it was new, so finding this battery really saved me a lot of time and money. If your portable electronics battery is dead or dying, you could do worse than just try one of these batteries (they come in different sizes and voltages as well as capacity) to see if that will fix your problem. In most digital equipment, the most likely components to fail are the two that are used the most - the on/off (power) switch, and the battey. Highly recommended! ... show more

I installed in Corsair headset I was happy bc it chatge sand looked good kight turned green like full chrge after hours. Then it never held. Charge. I was confused bc I installed correct only one way headset seemed to accept. And I even bought another battery from another r don chin manufacturer and did same thing. I guess Corsair has a James Bond mode where they self destruct t adter so many hours use. I actually don t game I used for work nd they were great I loved mutingvw boom stick too heavy though I use some light really expensive Bluetooth ones now just bc tht weight on your melon all day to me wd bad ... show more
