I bought one of these speakers almost 1.5 years ago, and it's still going strong. It's been dropped, bounced, and borrowed several times. A couple of months ago, the USB port started to get loose, so now I have to get creative about how to keep the cord plugged in for charging. These things often happen with electronics. That doesn't affect my rating, though. If you're on a budget, this speaker is a great choice. It sounds great, and it's easy to use. It's pretty loud, but not deafening loud. My only disappointment is that you can't have better controls over the lighting. Each time I power on the speaker, the lights come on automatically. I have to turn the lights off each time. I think it would be great if there were a way to program it so the lights don't come on every time. It would also be nice if you could choose which colors light up. I like the texture, it’s smooth. It doesn’t look super cheap. The lights are optional, I prefer to not use them. It didn’t come with a charging block but the charging cable is sturdy. I’m not disappointed about a block not being included because honestly we have too many and I usually recharge things directly with a USB port in the car or on a power bank. I had no issues connecting via Bluetooth to my outdated iOS. I appreciate that the powering up and down sound is quiet regardless of the volume the speaker was on. ... show more
