Update: I was pretty harsh in my original review and wanted to give an update. After leaving the pillow forms to expand a couple of days, they did look better. Still not a filling I would choose, but they should work ok. I gave them an extra two stars. My advice is to keep looking! These are like a really cheap fiberfill that doesn't even go into the corners and fill the pillow so that it looks even and nice. I would return but for the spike in Pandemic and not wanting to get out and take them to a return location. Really disappointed. When I see the term "down alternative" I expect a filling that fluff and acts like down, but isn't. These are definitely not that! I actually should give these zero stars. ... show more

I read all the reviews complaining about how thin they are and I immediately ordered them. Personally, I think most pillow forms are way too thick these days. They may look nice but they are uncomfortable to actually use. A throw pillow is not supposed to hold your back six inches away from the back of your seat. I got the 12x20 ones to use as lumbar pillows for dining chairs and they are just the right thickness to provide a little cushioning for the natural curve of your back. When I opened the vacuum sealed package, I waited (and waited) for the inserts to expand. But, they didn't. I fluffed them up as best I could and placed them in the new covers. But, they just barely filled them. Right dimensions, just not very full and fluffy. The depth in the center of the cushion (cover and insert) is about 2"; not what I consider much thickness for a cushion this size. In other words, not very soft, not much support, and not very comfortable. The covers (from another seller) look great, though! ... show more

I was looking for some pillow inserts for the pillow covers we purchased. Pillow covers in photos are the Lewonder Linen Pillow Case set 12x20 on Amazon. They came vacuumed sealed and I first I was worried they wouldn’t be fluffy but as soon as we opened the packages up, they fluffed our really nicely. I like that the fluffiness is full and it has not thinned or flattened out so far which we have had the pillow inserts for almost 2 months now. The pillow inserts are used more for decoration, but I like the durability of them. One of the pillow inserts somehow got stuck up under my sons toy chest. I was thinking the weight of the toy chest would flatten the fluffiness of the pillow down, but it went right back to its fluffy shape! I would purchase again from EDOW in the future when I need some more pillow inserts because the quality and durability is that good. ... show more

This product was underwhelming. Right out of the box when I put the pillows in the dryer on air fluff for 10 minutes, one of them was already lumpy and had a indent in it. I bought these for the decorative pillow covers you see them in for this review. The pillow did not fill in the entire pillow case, which is exactly the same size. It didn’t even reach the corners. The pillow insert Was understaffed so that the pillow flattened out if anybody were to lean up against it. Just not some thing that I would recommend if you like decorative pillows to look nice. ... show more

I bought 2 inserts for 12x18 pillow covers from Crate & Barrel. For some reason I have to wait 3 months to receive the inserts I purchased from them - so I ordered these 2 from Amazon. They are OK. I figured they would be 2" too large for the covers and they would be nicely stuffed, but they're actually a bit smaller than the cover. They're little lumpy, but they get the job done. They are shrink-wrapped for shipping but they puff out once opened. ... show more

I purchased a set of 12x20 inserts to fit into MIULEE lumbar pillow covers purchased on this site. The two fit together perfectly. Pillow inserts were shipped flat in a vacuum-sealed bag. The puffed up as soon as I opened the packaging. No odor, very little fluffing needed to distribute the filling. Lumbar pillow inserts are difficult to find so I was happy they were available here. Soft pillow with 0 support. Compressed out of the package and waited for a few hours for fullness but any weight on it deflated the pillow offering 0 support. They did bounce back to shape though, so of you don't need any support and just for the look, than these might be ok for you.
