I was able to put this together by myself for the most part. The directions are vague but if you pay attention to detail they aren't hard to follow. I did need an extra set of hands in one or two areas. The color of the wood is super pretty. I got the Southern oak. The headboard really isn't that tall so if you do have a box spring with mattress, you won't be able to see it really. It does feel fairly sturdy, my dogs have both jumped on the bed already since then and nothing happened (they're over 60lbs each). I purchased on prime day so it was on sale, not sure if I would pay full price. ... show more

I was looking for a white bed frame and I searched on Amazon and saw this one for a great price. Look-wise this bed frame is beautiful, but the problems with these are the dimensions are incorrect, the sides are about an inch off and the bottom is about 2 inches off. This makes the bed not stay still and keeps sliding around and is annoying. The second problem is that there are a lot of dents and scratches but none of them are that noticeable from afar. The third problem is that some of the nails placement is about 1/4-1/2 inches off and you need to make a new hole or buy some extra supplies because they don’t give you the right measurements for the nails to fit in the boards correctly. I wouldn’t reccomend this to someone, unless they are tight on a budget but still you could probably get another bed frame somewhere better. ... show more

I ordered this and got it out of the box it’s VERY HEAVY but got it out and the color is off for the southern oak. I ordered this to match some oak night stands I bought at the same time and I they look nothing a like. But it’s good all the pieces are there easy to follow instructions and sturdy.

This bed is very nice, it’s took a little longer to assemble it, it has too many parts but seems to be strong. Also I ordered a Twin XL size and they send a regular twin size. I had to return the twin XL mattress.

My husband and I assembled this bed and have used it less than a month and the middle leg in the center of the bed broke (we don’t exceed the weight limit). The bed was easy to assemble and is pretty but the edges are so sharp and I’m super disappointed it already broke! The assembly was relatively easy, but you’ll have to pay close attention to the details of the instructions. We chose Southern Oak because it had red tones in the picture but the actual product is more of a brown gray tone. I thought we ordered the wrong color or the wrong color was delivered but in looking at the color options for the product I don’t see where the other color options would represent what we received. This bed is beautiful. It was easy to ease assemble. Some areas did come chipped and wrong placement for screws. I was able to fix it and most area are hidden with blankets. It definitely is a cheaper frame.people mention the cornered being sharp and being an issue but I have had no problems.
