1981 GMC K2500 4speed with crate sbc 350 with edelbrock performer intake 5-1/2 PSI fuel regulator, started right up drove and shifted good with no problems. Needed to purchase a intake manifold spacer also.

Install on my 1978 Ford 460, motor has been rebuilt, high compression pistons, header and exhaust, little more aggressive cam and spring set, upgraded intake manifold. Was concerned that the 800 CFM was too much but man I’m glad I went with it! Really opened up the motor, plus the drivability is amazing. I didn’t think upgrading the carb would make such a huge difference and my throttle response is just as good as EFI. ... show more

This thing is cool. Out of the box it ran damn close to perfect I think while vacuum tuning I might have got a 1/4 turn adjustment maybe. To me I feel in the pedal and hear it run much smoother both accelerating and decelerating.

Installed on a 1970 Plymouth Superbird with a 440. Ran great right out of the box! I do have a little dieseling problem when hot but I am ordering a idle stop solenoid kit (Edelbrock 8059 - Edelbrock Throttle Solenoid and Bracket Kits) which should solve that issue. Looks very similar to the original carb, except the electric choke. ... show more
