These pants have quickly become my go-to for hiking, travel, I have been buying all the colors of these over the years. They’re lightweight yet tough enough to handle rough trails, and I really like that they have some stretch for comfort when climbing or bending, even great for just a regular day. The water-repellent finish works well, and they dry quickly if you get caught in rain or cross a stream. I also appreciate the flattering fit, they’re functional without looking bulky. With the multiple pockets, love the leg one for my phone and versatile style, they’re perfect for both the trail and casual wear. Definitely worth it!

Very nice pants that go from urban settings to hiking. Note these are not First Ascent pants. The First Ascent Guide Pro pants are designed for more rugged outdoor activities like mountaineering, while these Rainier pants are built for travel and mixed hiking (e.g., going from trails to town). I like the fit, stretch, and light material that moves with me and can be washed and dried quickly. As for warmth, I would say these are good three-season pants. For winter I prefer something lined. I have a 34 inch inseam, and these are just barely long enough with trail shoes, so I line dry them. All in all, great pants at a good price.

Love these pants. Love the side leg zipper pocket for my phone. They fit well, are very comfortable, wick water well and resist dirt. I now own 4 pair in different colors and also the shorts. Definitely recommend.

We bought these for hiking in Scotland with variable weather. They were definitely waterproof and were comfortable for all day wear. They fit better than other brands’ options and overall quality was great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that they were a little long for me (5’4). I was able to fold them under and it worked fine.

I wanted some quick drying pants for travel - these will do the trick. I bought these in April 2025 and have used them pants for a month now. They're comfortable (the fabric has a decent hand, some give but hasn't stretched out), well made, and functional. Inseam on my size 14 black pair was 33 inches. The zippered pocket on the thigh is unobtrusive; so, they look like regular pants - not like I am hiking the Pacific Northwest Trail. That pocket will zip up with my iPhone 14 in a slim case in it - but barely. I've worn them 2 days/nights running and they didn't capture odors. There is another pair in my cart as I type.

I get compliments on these pants. They are made well and they look good on. On a hot day they keep me cool and not sweaty. The pants are very lightweight. The size was perfecto. The are so comfortable. I work a very physical job and they stretch and bend with me. Not see through and after wash ing them I steam the wrinkles out. You could probably take a spray bottle with water to the creases and they will dissappear
