I usually wear a 12. I ordered large & they were extremely too big. Returned for medium. I still love them but gave them 4 stars as the medium is slightly too small. The sizing is off or too general. I have large hips & the pockets which are so convenient pull them tighter. I will probably stitch up the pockets & cut them out. I absolutely love these pants and bought them in every color. I live in a hot climate, and have found most pants in this category to be too heavy. The departure pants are perfect for hot weather and travel! You can wear them with a casual tank during the day and switch to a dressier top in the evening. I spent three weeks in Greece and these pants became part of my daily attire. If you're looking for a lightweight summer pant, these are that. Two down sides is that it runs a little large. I bought my normal size and it is a bit baggy so I fold the top down one and it fits fine like that. Also, it does look much cheaper in person than in the photos.

Love these pants. Ordered XL Traveled this summer and used different colors. Very comfortable. Easy to pack. Good for plane and long bus rides. Light weight even for summer when u do not want to wear shorts on walking tours. Highly recommend.

I'm 5'7, 165 lbs and pear shaped (bottom size 12). I bought size large in the sage green color. These pants are well-made, fashionable, and very lightweight and I thought they'd be great to pack for a trip to Europe. However, I'm not happy with the way the very thin fabric stretches too closely over my pear bottom & thighs and reveals/accentuates my bumps and jiggles. My other lightweight hiking pants have just a little more structure in their design and don't do that. These wont be making the trip with ne, but I'm considering keeping them since they are very comfortable in this crazy hot SoCal summer, and I'm actively working on toning & improving my problem areas anyway. ... show more

Comfortable pants that look great on the golf course or simply out running errands. I have worn sweaters with the pants and a sweatshirt…. Very versatile. My only complaint is that they get staticky very easily.
