Owned this machine for 3 weeks. Each ice making session creates four ice spheres. 3 of the 4 are great, well shaped and clear (using filtered water.) However, 1 of the 4 always comes out with half the sphere partially hollow, and the other half cloudy. I've reached out for support, ran through the suggested various additional cleaning cycles, but nothing I've done is able to get the "fourth" defective sphere each round. I'm dreading trying to haul this thing to UPS to get it shipped back, as it is very heavy. It is a shame, because I really like the 3 out of 4 successful ice balls it makes.

Great ice ball maker. While it's possible to make more perfect spheres, most people are not doing all the work it takes to get there. This is plenty good enough. Use a Zero Water filter to get total dissolved solids (TDS) to as low as possible. Our tap water is around 380, after the refrigerator filter it's around 180, after the Zero Water the meter reads 002. Water tank holds 8 cups of water. Low water alert level is at 2 cups. The storage containers are upgraded and made of a thicker white plastic. Much more durable than what I saw on earlier review videos. Only ding is the design of the door drips water, it comes with a drip tray and it works, just a minor annoyance and shouldn't be put on a wood table or counter if incidental water is a concern.

This had the potential to be the coolest counter top ice maker I've ever had, but honestly it just fell short. The machine doesn't get quite cold enough to keep a full bin of ice balls completely frozen, so the ones on the bottom start melting and by the end of the day are often about half the size they start at. I liked the ice enough to overlook that, but then it started leaking. At first it was just the front right side, and only a few drops every now and then - so the tray was able to hold it, and again, I was willing to let that slide. But I've had it just about a month and now it leaks pretty steadily and I basically have to take the fresh ice balls out and put in my kitchen freezer almost immediately after they drop if I want them to hold their size. I thought there must be something wrong with the machine, and since I got the warranty through Amazon and it had been less than 30 days when I originally reached out to see how I could get the ice maker exchanged, I didn't foresee having any problems. But then I found out that there is no exchange or replacement option. If I want to return it, I have to box it up safely and return it to the company for a refund. Of course I no longer have the original packaging and I am afraid I won't be able to box it up securely enough to return it fully in tact without it so I honestly don't know what I'm going to do.

Perfect addition to my kitchen…since my refrigerator only has a single ice maker I was going through a lot of ice…the ice is slow melting and perfect for my yeti water bottle…it makes ice really fast as well 4 spheres in under an hour!!

Junk. Stopped working after 4 months. Keeps telling the door is open but it’s not so it won’t make any ice. I talked to customer service and they made promises someone would help but it’s been silence. Would not recommend.
